Jackie Evancho - Get Out Of My Life (Lyric Video)

Музыка

“I wrote ”Get Out Of My Life” at a point where I was growing more and more tired of being told what to do, how to look, what to say. I just let it all out in a song. Seeing it go from the very first version in my garage band app to this completed one is so fulfilling and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it."

These are difficult words for anyone to hear, but perhaps we all have had to say them to someone at some time in our life. I really admire the songwriting skills, and I hope Jackie will continue to write and perform her own work in the future. (Though I still love her work in the classical crossover genre.)

In my situation, I'm tired of being told what to do by jealous people and erotomaniac stalkers I don't care about. They are not "the light in my life", they are just toxic, useless and only gave me post-traumatic stress disorder. These crazy people, on the contrary, poisoned the one I love with the vaccine and a cancer. And the title "Out of my life" is a music I sang for the erotomaniac guy who harrasses me everyday, called Charles, that I never loved and who's jealous of the man I love. He even made death threats towards him, threatened me with blackmail and I had to go to the police for that.

@@BBBYpsi As I said, Jackie used it for this one song which, in my opinion, was a clever and appropriate effect in conveying the message, using computerization to duplicate a sound reminiscent of the gramophone recordings of the early 20th century. It would have been totally out of place for any of the other songs. Btw, her "terrific voice" is clearly evident, as was that of Caruso in his gramophone recordings. I think you are overly concerned and perhaps not trusting Jackie to use her voice appropriately in conveying her messages in future recordings. As her own producer, she isn't going to "buy into" anything that would compromise her integrity as an artist. Remember that as an independent artist she is not subject to the demands or imposed influences of anyone in the industry, rather responsible only to herself and her vision for her music.

She grew up listening to Alt-pop with her dad and has a particular affinity for that era.. "It's the way I write", she says. Doesn't mean she will necessarily continue with that genre in the future. Knowing Jackie, she will probably come up with some new surprise as an artist/songwriter/composer.

I am trying to find the off switch on the nag hag in the back of my mind. All I want it peace of mind. Please leave alone. SAY HEY, Billy Joel has a similar song about folks who try to steal the other fellow's soul. Billy Joel sings about the idea of "LEAVE ME ALONE THIS IS MY LIFE!" Just like your song his song expresses how I feel about all the "ALIEN BULLSHIT". Keep the alien bullshit to yourself. Signed "GOD," God the Mother's only begotten Son, and there is none other. You got your gig and I got my gig, and the two gigs aren't the same gig. Tell Micheal to lay off the drugs it's killing him! So long, and please find someone else to nag, okay? "BYE"!

Read Jackie's introduction. The lyrics can be interpreted as a "bad relationship" song, but it's actually a "confrontational" song directed to those in the industry who had imposed enormous pressure upon her from early in her career to be "Perfect" in every respect...to do what she was told, look the way she was told, sing what she was told, behave the way she was told..... She explained it thoroughly in her Instagram video of June, 2023. It had led to her developing an eating disorder trying to live up to unrealistic demands and expectations. Jackie finally broke away several years ago to become an independent artist and take command of her career and control of her music and image. She said, it took time to get the courage to make the video and release the song,. She said, "Those people are going to know who they are". Just about everyone has had a "bad relationship" at one time or another, regardless of age. Some talk about it to a friend, an associate, a minister, or a psychologist. Songwriters put it to music with lyrics. To say the "lyrics are almost identical to every other one" is absurd, and an insult.
