i love this knife. mine came about three weeks ago and i haven’t set it down. i have never had a sheath with a pocket clip because i prefer a static cord and i typically carry a fixed blade as a secondary knife because it takes up different real estate than my folders…. but i love this sheath too! it’s the total package. i mainly wear truwerk work pants because i like the pocket orientation on those pants but the other day i was carrying it comfortably in basketball shorts which is always a challenge. it doesn’t move around at all. the sheath comes stiff but it’s already wearing in nicely. i used it yesterday to dig a tick out of my leg and it shaved the leg hairs nicely and was exceptionally pointy. no complaints 10/10. i chose the purple. i was right on the drop and i had all of the options and honestly it was a difficult choice and i really liked the titanium but i was originally planning on making a kydex sheath to permanently mount scout carry style below my belt buckle so i wanted the darker color to blend in with my belt better and it would have been disappointing to get the linen micarta when i was already passing up the titanium version. and then it shows up and i love it so i’m not dissatisfied with the purple at all, it looks cool. it would be awesome to trade a left scale for a right scale and that probably would have been easier to do if i had picked the titanium or something because nobody wants to trade for the purple one apparently but i do really like it.

The sheath is what got me on this one, I like the amber look of ultem. What good is a knife if you never carry it? The robust carry options are genius. Normally I stay away from chinese manufacturing although i do make exceptions obviously. 400$ Canadian after taxes and shipping, so a person has to be pretty serious about supporting the company. But I know it goes to supporting Bens Canadian distributor whom im also fond of. Shout out to BladesCanada.

I want one. I wonder how much is hype for the brand name and how much is the sweetness that is a small, ergonomically correct, fixed blade. How does it compare to the Boker AK1? I think the nice leather pocket sheath has its own allure. Cheers!
