He has 6 brothers and 2 sisters so his parents had their hands full. Not to mention he was supporting himself and running his own business by age 21 before The WS ever got popular. He kind of manufactured himself.

I love how he is never afraid of instrumentals, they are always fierce.

As an audio tech....all substances react to vibration...but to master liquids vibration is fucking magic. Hats off Jack and crew! Wow

With a single driver that favours low and mid frequencies, the upper frequencies like just cymbals and HH don’t disturb the paint as much… And all they needed for this video was a couple of fun ideas, and some good photography. Well, good editing.

Jack White is notoriously eccentric. Love him or hate him, he is true to himself. Such is the nature of a true artist I believe. I admire the man for doing what he damn well wants. Love him or hate him, take your pick....But at least he isn't clone like a large majority of the mainstream music industry. Yet.

***** Ok that is complete crap. Just because he covers blues artists' songs sometimes doesn't mean he is stealing from them. He makes those songs his own when he plays them instead of doing it the same way as the original artists. He gives them credit and its not like thats all he does. Covers aren't stealing if due credit is given.

AchillesWrath Exactly right! You may have seen "It Might Get Loud", terrific documentary w. Jack White, The Edge and Jimmy Page; it's a favorite of mine. Jack White is a bluesman who no more "steals" from the blues than any other artist. It's not stealing; it's interpreting, covering with respect, and making a song your own. Do you say the same of Led Zeppelin? Eric Clapton? Jack White attacks his guitar and rips out your heart; that's why I love his music; it runs the gamut of all emotions, and he's a master musician. Been playing since he was a kid. Wish he'd come to Toronto!

It's not only for its skill, but for is dedication to music..I heard that in some show his knuckles was bleeding, he scratch them on is guitar because he was too intense...or it may be a legend...don't know, but I like him...

agreed! Was a pretty flat and boring album with a couple of exceptions. Hopefully this one makes up for it!

I can't believe it was 2014 when this came out. Glad we all got a pandemic Ball and Biscuit on SNL, God bless Jack. We've made it through hell, now we go to High Water.

No need to have a Grammy Awards show, just give it all to Jack.

This is sssoooooooo BADASS! The kind of music that makes you feel like a king when you walk down the street with your headphones on. Makes you want to play air guitar.

Jack never cease to amaze me of the essence of how much wonder I feel when I listen to one of his songs. Everything Jack White is has always been beautiful to me since day one (15+ years ago) and I'm not trying to raise his ego. His beauty is in his creatividad: the way he thinks, how the stars in the sky shine bright when every note and riff on that guitar ignites the passion he feels in his soul. I'm here to tell you his way of thinking, his creativty, passion and his soul is the most beautiful thing to me. This song is beautiful I can feel passion in every note played on this song. Music does not always have to have words in order to feel someone spirit in that song. I agree it is sacred. All you have to do is sit back,

Couldn't agree more. The Black Keys make me angry with every new release, but I never get tired of Jack's stuff. Makes me happy that somebody still makes the music I love. P.S. the new Wolfmother is also pretty good. Besides a couple of the tracks being almost the same as the first album...

I have to get into more of this dude's music. This was sick. The video totally fit the song.

Absolutely love this song! Jacks Guitar in this gives me goosebumps! I love the sound his guitar makes! I hope every song Is just as good as this on his new album! So happy he's back!!!

Jackie White really gets it and knows how to show it. Being a young lad in my early 50's (was just a lil boy in 1967 through 1971 who happened to hear & witness just some of the stuff rock & U.S. history is made of-wished I'd seen more),and what I hear is a guy who really knows the tricks of the trade. Turn On and beware you don't get burnt!

I adore the use of sound in this video! it's beautiful how the objects move to the vibrations. Jack White, you are a genius! i love everything you do... as i watch your videos i realize that we may be vibrating on the same frequency. i made a similar video a few years ago... i love you

Brettski87 That’s most likely true. He apparently was set to score the film but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts, and instead they used Hans Zimmer

Not at all. I would hear that guitar and be very happy that someone is actually rocking a cool guitar sound. I would be curious to know what a non-instrumental song would sound like and be ready to hear the rest of the album. He had me for sure at 1:14 when the fuzz kicks in.

Jack White is most definitely a very creative and talented original. I'm highly impressed with Blunderbuss and his isn't the "type" of music I generally listen to. Anyone with an ear for music, including many seasoned greats, realize his skills and the pro's are eager to collaborate. I look forward to his many future projects.

Just saw Jack last night at the Fox Theatre in his hometown of Detroit. He had to take a small break in the middle of the show because his index finger began bleeding. He was FUCKING AMAZING!

Love the music, miss seeing you play your music! Bring back the old~cool~Jack!

It looks like that liquid is rockin' out on speakers and at certain points it's like little people dancing. The vocal part is really cool because it sounds like it could be some sort of pedal effect. The first thing I thought was, "Damn, he even makes these liquids shake their booties!" I like that it's an all girl band and Jack. Sweet sounds ladies..and Jack:)
