He was the US distributer for unisons but they went their separate ways and afaik these are Chinese made pastels now. That’s why they are cheaper. I think these look a lot like the Chinese Manet pastels that Jackson’s in the UK sold a few years ago.

I love the fact that they are packed by colors or value! Very effective! I bought the neutral set

I heard that he was an owner and distributor/ representative for Unison. I just bought Jack Robison 60 set. So, less expensive, & probably ALOT alike! Just watching the video. Thx for your work! Messy Mendy 🌿 Also, I saw on a previous video comparing the Ludwig Eggplant V 330 to a Unison, that looked a lot more “ buttery soft” but very similar in color. Can u share the # ? Once I put them in my studio box, I use them a lot more. I still like them but I don't think they are as soft as Sennelier, but close. Good pastels though, this set has a muted or moodiness to it. Overall, I'm still glad I have them. ;)

The Robertson pastel seems more opaque all the other ones were more translucent so it just depends on how you want to use them good video though
