I really hope you're right, but according to 2 American analysists, on this platform, one Scott Ritter and the other Colonel Douglas McGregor, "Ukraine is finished" and it's only a matter of time that they surrender --apparently because the Orcs have bigger numbers of troops ( canon-fodder) ...at this stage I don't know who/ what to believe...Ukraine has put up a tremenduous resistance and showed gallantry and bravery....are all these weapons systems coming too late?? Confused here.

I think that alot myself, it really is a pitty but its a necessary evil at the moment. I hope after this is all over and other countrys move in to help ukraine rebuild there will be replacement homes built for thesw people, even if they are pre made or pre fab homes that can be built quickly but are very solid structures, hopefully they will after some time have a home and there land to return to.

The US has been outstanding, but it should not place limits on the use of weapons, the security agreement needs to be Trump proof and the US should expedite NATO membership for Ukraine.

Real question here…looking for real answers and real discussion and debate. My question is… should Ukraine be able to join NATO? And I know this might sound like a ridiculous question at first.. but think about it for a second. There’s no way Russia would ever allow that. Ever. NATO would be pulled into military conflict more then we already are. WWIII would break out.. it seems like this would just make relations a lot worse and would only serve to escalate tensions. I understand Ukraine desperately wants to join and they DO deserve to be protected. But there’s no protecting anyone from thermonuclear war.

1. Russia doesn't get to decide who joins NATO, any more than the West decides who joins the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organisation). 2. pootin threatened severe consequences if Finland and Sweden joined. There were none. 3. Discussion over.

As long as the war is still going on there will be no NATO membership for Ukraine. But after the war is over I see this as the only option to guarantee permanent peace in the region. If Ukraine doesn't become a member Russia will attack again as soon as they think there strong enough again. And both sides have nuclear weapons. Russia likes to threaten the west with them but they also know that actually using them would also be the end of Russia. That's MAD, but is works.
