Pretty obvious if you watch the movie Argo. Alan Arkin's character says, "I know a guy in the valley..."

I’ve read they cut a lot of the Kirby scenes from Argo. The movie is highly inaccurate about Canada’s involvement making the US the hero of the story. That make sense for marketing reasons and the movie as it’s own thing is pretty good otherwise. Unfortunate that Jack was left out. They should cut his scenes into a short film.

The diplomats were actually from the New Zealand embassy but that didn’t fit the script.

It has a ton of subliminal messages about mind control 👀

The movie is highly inaccurate in many ways, very much a Hollywood-ized story.

When the King goes, he goes wild! That seems to be one psychedelic mind space where artists like Tradd Moore is currently chilling in.

Absolutely. Lord of light was used to take hostages out of iran where i live. Tgis scene is depicted in the movie ARGO as well. How awesome is that? I love how Iran connects to kirby in this weird way.

Awesome Kirby works, and and interesting chain of events. I've seen ARGO, but haven't watched the documentary.

There is an awesome action figure of that Lord of Light page with the green background-- Super7 it put out a couple of years ago. Zelazny and Kirby would have been incredible together.

I picked up Tom Scioli's Free Comic Book Day comic. It's very concise, entertaining, and informative.
