Jack Imel made his debut on The Lawrence Welk Show in 1957. Jack played marimba, danced, and sang on the show until 1982. Imel was also an Associate Producer of the show helping with the technical and producing side. He played in the band as well, mostly doing percussion parts. In 1970 he was teamed up with Mary Lou Metzger and the two of them went on to perform countless numbers together.
