In terms of humor and down to earth. The hockey players today don’t even compare to those of the past. I mean come on. I’m a millennial and I realize the older generations own those two categories for eternity. The young guys are cool but door knobs compared to the maniacs from past decades. Understandable with the money and spotlight, just sayin. Listen to Biz and Whitney. That’s humor.

@@le9335 Yeah, they're more professional now. They realize they cannot go out publicly and say whatever they like or invent. Times have drastically changed; there's more responsibility now, and more tact is required. Now it's required to be nice and well-mannered. But yeah, I'm not comparing the sense or quality of humor of these two eras of players. They need to be more careful now. Just mentioned certain humorous touch as one of the good qualities of gentlemanly figure here that is Jack Hughes.

Yes, let's ignore Quinn. He only plays on the west coast of Canada and all the sports channels have their HQ on the east coast. I remember when the Leafs were awful and I still had to watch the Worst Case Ontario sports crew go on and on about how great their players were. As a Canucks fan, it's pretty ridiculous. We've been bad for a decade and were treated like it. The Leafs on paper should be a finalist, but they barely got past the first round last year. I still enjoy watching them choke, knowing everyone did the same thing in Canada in 2011. If the Canucks can never be Canada's team, neither can the Laffs. The more they win in the regular season, the more it builds up to them choking when it matters. Can't wait.
