This was one of those times that the UFC set up a card to be a springboard for a fighter, and it didn’t work out. Joe Pyfer was doing every interview and every podcast for weeks now, telling us all again and again, “I came from nothing.” Probably less media next time, and more treadmill. Fantastic performance by Jack. So impressively broke Pyfer down, until Jack was on top beating him down at the end.

Be Joe Pyfer! I had it 48-47 for Pyfer but it is what it is. We don't make excuses but Jack only "won" because of that little calf kick and it looks like Joe had a bad weight cut as well. Joe will take this and learn from it and be back better than ever. The goal hasn't changed and that's UFC gold. He literally hits harder than Ngannou!

If you believe Joe hits harder than Francis because he hit a machine that was built for pure promotional purposes, I have a bridge in Wyoming to sell you.
