Jackée Harry is a one of a kind GEM. Too funny all the time. How is it she didn't star movies and do stand-up?

Isn't it funny that the roles she didn't want are legendary? Sandra Clark is a prototype I haven't truly seen replicated because it can't be... as Lisa, she joins a proud representation of Black mothers on the tv screen. Jackee is television royalty that has set the standards and opened the doors.

Diane Sands was AMAZING! She was the original choice for Claudine and she became sick with cancer and passed away within six months. That’s why Diannah Carol stepped in and did the role they were best friends. Diane played in Raisin in the Sun and Willie Dynamite. ❤
