It just shows you how old this is. He's reading the audiences jokes our on a piece a paper instead of on a mobile like on Live At the Apollo. i guess mobiles hadn't really taken off back then. This must be 1996.

The beer advert one, the grandfather car one and Due South one are definitely pre-prepared (I saw him before this performance), but I THINK the others were genuine (but I wouldn't bet my granny on it...)

@parttimelaver At least 1997 because of the mention of Teletubbies. Fuck, how sad is it that I bothered to enter Teletubbies into wikipedia? Not as sad as knowing that anyway at least. I remember watching this on video at my friend's house about this time. Good stuff.
