Eagle rare is just loved because of the name and difficulty to find. Id take my cheaper russels reserve 10 over it

Eagle Rare is definitely better than regular russell's 10. Russell's single barrel puts up a better fight. Eagle Rare is just quality 10yr juice and if you love fruity forward bourbons, it's hard to beat. Now I'm not gonna pay more than like $40 for a bottle but if I find it for that price or cheaper, I always leave with one.

Sinatra select is actually so good and made me a jack Daniels fan

I enjoy your channel and reviews. I just recently subscribed to it. I tried Sinatra Select a few years ago at a friend’s house. I was just venturing into bourbon. I really liked it and still drink it. It is interesting to me how I like it so much, but I don’t think I have seen one very positive review of it yet. It has this kind of smokey finish to it that I like that is the only thing I can figure out. Once again thanks for your videos they have been helpful and enjoyable.

Ordered it some days ago. Here in Germany it is between 160,- and 230,- €. Depends on where you buy it. I hope it tastes as it looks - fantastic.

Those are $150ish here in NC when they pop up. I bought a bottle just to try it. I got to taste it initially on my 'Angel's Share' tour at the distillery. THAT was the day when I decided I wanted to learn to taste whiskey and bourbon. This was good but its not one I'd buy again. I thought the No. 27 Gold was really good... smoooooth.... I have recently become a fan of the Bonded JD.....

Great Review. Not sure I would buy it for 130$ .. seems a bit high, and a bit gimicky with the name of a legend as a sales point. Why not just make the watered down N07 better like the way it was?? Jack? for that much I would get the single barrel release that is 70$ and everywhere.

$130? I’m in CT only saw this bottle once. It’s was $300. I needed up buying it for $210 for it. Haven’t opened it though. I have no interest in drinking it it think it’s just a cool bottle with a cool story and history. It’s on Display with my Widow Jane The Vaults, Old Rip 10, Calumet 16 (cracked into) and Midleton 2020.

Bloody brilliant review mate. I always get a little envious watching your videos due to the conversion rates. I work in a bottle shop(liquor store) over here in Australia and I'm currently looking at the bottle of Sinatra we've got on our top shelf for $275AUD weeping to myself wishing it was $130😭🤣

In fairness, he did say MSRP was $130 American. Most alcohol retailers sell it for 200 bucks or more. I should know; I went looking for it as a broke college student and that was the price I saw 🤣🤣🤣

Saw one today at one of my local stores and was iffy on it but might have to go pick it up now, who knows when it might pop back up

I recently tried it. Now the Sinatra select gets a lot of shit from the community, but I enjoyed the Sinatra select quite a bit. Personally I’d rate it higher than Eagle rare by several points. Am I going to buy another bottle at 100 dollars? No, but I’m damn glad I have one

I have a bottle of Frank Sinatra Century. Never opened the bottle, so I have to watch other people taste and tell me cuz I'm not opening mine to try it. Glad to see some one tried the select. I'm thinking they are probably the same.

Here in Australia you can actually find it for less than $130 AUD. I wouldn’t pay that though. It’s a good drop, great over ice, and I find it a little more complex than Old No. 7. I’m a huge Jack lover though so I’m happy either way lmao

I like it, got a bottle as a gift and have thoroughly enjoyed it, definitely better than old no7 if you like it neat

I had a sip of JDFS. It's very reminiscent of WR Double Oaked and OF 1910. Unless you're a Frank Sinatra fan, the price isn't justified.

By the was as DJT would say Jack Daniels Old No. 7 is yuuuuuge in Italy. You will find it on the shelf of any good Bar and it's sold in most large Supermarkets. I've made many trips to Italy and any time anyone has bought me a whisky, it's invariably Jack Daniels. I think it's impressive that the Jack Daniels distillery can meet worldwide demand. And it's consistently good.

I'm in Dublin Ohio right now at wine and spirits I just picked up a bottle of the Jack Daniels Sinatra and a peerless rye waiting to get my bottle signing with the founder of rabbit hole figured I would sit in the parking lot and check this out

You should do some videos on the Alabama bourbon lottery. Even if you don't win, go out and see what people walk away with. Last month I was out there getting my motherload and its hella fun to see what people come out with

It would be interesting to see a comparison of Coopers 100 and Sinatra select. From the label it sounds less they have a similar barrel processing. Also both a Forman product…

I've had multiple bottles of old #7 freeze on me. It's definitely watered down.

Anywhere from $155 to $175 today in Ohio and Kentucky. Just couldn't justify dropping that kind of money on ANY JD's product!! Kentucky rules with Bourbon!!!

Well, this was a highly requested review so i just used a bottle I own, which we do from time to time on regular releases

Been eyeballing a bottle at the store downtown and it’s priced at 200$

looking at your scoreboard, I'm very surprised to see Barrel Vantage (a finished bourbon) at the top of your list.

so i bought a bottle of this as a house warming gift to myself and my personal opinion for price and how hard it is to find i would save your time and money. i think it lacks the flavor or taste for a bottle of its price. it is smooth with a good mouth feel but i would do a bottle of elijah craig of it.

I was gifted a bottle of this for a retirement gift....havent opened it

Tried this once and thought it was pretty good. Not great value for the money (It was about $200 if I recall correctly) though. The packaging was pretty cool though.

I agree. I thought it was very good and would be my daily sipper or go-to drink.....but my brother had bought the bottle in SoCal and it was $180! That's the high-rent district and way too rich for my budget.

@@charlest8373 Same here. I first spotted it in duty-free at the airport a while back. The JD Silver Select and Bottled in Bond are pretty good options at a more reasonable price point ($50-60 the last time I checked ... which was a while back though)

So pretty sure i saw this for 79 at my local store. Is it worth it for that price?

That's half of what it retails for. I'd buy it for that price just to trade or leave on the shelf.

I think this is a bottle that people keep, for clout because it’s such a rare bottle

I bought a bottle at my local store for $170, it is not worth it. Jack Daniels single barrel barrel proof is $60-$65 and 10x better.

That $130 MSRP is too high for a 90 proof bourbon/Tennessee whiskey with no age statement. You can get 4 bottles of JD Bonded for the same price. I’d much rather do that.

I just saw this in a store for $170 and laughed. There are way too many other better bourbons for half the price.

I have a collection of jack daniel's that no one wants to buy. Of the bottles are worth $1400.

The price on this stuff is crazy high. Its a $30 bottle (and thats because its a liter). Its just a classic budget bourbon (yes i said bourbon, the jack daniels master distillers say its bourbon too). Its good, just way overpriced.

"technically not a bourbon"? It meets every requirement to be a bourbon. Jack calls it "Tennessee whiskey" to stand out in a big crowd. You should know this. Some Bourbon KZreadrs are the worst.

Tennessee whisky is bourbon. They just prefer to use the term Tennessee whisky but it's definitely bourbon. Yeah i know about the Lincoln county process but it's still bourbon.
