    Hey Bobby about that burnt plug on the camper, check the receptacle at the campground. A common cause for the plug to burn like that is from a loose connection. With all of the RVs plugging in and out of those receptacles they can get Worn and Loose. Love your show ❤️

    A few years ago I promised my son a distillery tour so we dropped in on the Jim Beam place in July, only to discover Jim Beam didn’t offer tours in July! But in the Jim Beam gift shop we met their Master Distiller and he gave us directions to a nearby boutique distillery called Woodford Reserve. A very small operation but just as interesting and they did tours year round!

    Hi from Telluride, Bobbie!! Thank you very much to you two for sharing this tour!! Very awesome! There I was ...at Fort Campbell in 2007. I was getting attached to a unit from there to head to Iraq. I was heading over on their last plane of 5, and was told it would be close to a week before we headed over. I thought about just driving back home to NC to go trick or treating with my kids. But...I knew that would be a stretch. So, I was driving down to Lynchburg to tour the J.D. plant when I got the call....plane will be arriving in a couple of hours. So, I had to turn around ...and never got to go :-(

    @ 9:57 that back building cover is where the grain is unloaded. There is a gran elevator moving below ground that moves the grain up to a storage area. Then to the fermenting tanks. Anyway, our work crew rebuild all of it years ago. We got a tour too. And a bottle of untaxed unstamped whisky too. I drank it many years later the night of my divorce.

    No, the same term is used for RV's and trucks......perhaps borrowed from boats, but it is common in the RV world since they travel and often have onboard power just like boats. The only other term I could think of to replace shore power is grid power, but I haven't heard that used by people who deal with RV's or in any of the literature for them.

    Loved this video. Jack Daniels is my drink of choice. Couple fun facts at one time and you still may find it you could get Jack Daniels unaged or filtered. Its clear whiskey and the color come from the barrel and aging. And yes it tastes like gasoline. Secondly the folks who make charcoal need an accelerant to get the pile of wood going. And if they use gas or lighter fluid it would leave a nasty after taste. They use unfiltered Jack Daniels to start the fire.

  • @CGT80

    @CGT80

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@rogjackson It is quite common. Plugging in or unplugging while under load can create a spark and burn on the plug or receptacle and low voltage in the campground will increase the amperage and heat on a conductor or terminal. It is very common when people use a 15 amp adapter for their RV and try to run AC or other heavy loads. While it seems to always burn the male prongs of the 15 amp side, the entire adapter will get hot and a bad connection on the 30 amp side could foul the 30a cord end, making it more prone to high resistance and heat in the future. This reminds me that I need to check the 50A adapter for my trailer (30 amp). I think it had an overheated pin when I put it away last time.
