I liked him from beginning, a lot of singers have facial expressions, Phillip Phillips, Alanis Morissette, to name a couple. I loved when Jelly Roll was the mentor and he said don’t ever change. He said i know people have said things about your expressions don’t listen to them do your thing.

I honestly don't mind his facial expressions. He is just so good 😭

I think it’s either you love him or you don’t. All I know is based on just technical vocal ability the man can sing his entire face off point blank the period and his guitar playing is amazing! He’s a great performer and puts a ton of passion into what he does! I really hope he goes extremely far, he has all the goods and knows who he is. Philip Philips has that same type of unique thing and won and objectively he’s a way more vocally gifted singer!
