It’s a shame that there aren’t many non-Disney fairy tale movies these days. Hansel & Gretel and Jack and the Beanstalk are the only ones that I remember with a nostalgic passion

Movies like "Freeway" use the fairytale in different ways, so much movies do that, you won't believe it. But also there's Moby Dick, Tom Sawyer and a bunch of other movies you should see✌️

Fun movie! I’ve never seen it before but all families should watch it together. There is so much violence on TV and at movies. And this is great movie for all ages. A must watch for all!

Great movie. I just remembered I saw it on television quite a while back. The funny parts and Gilbert Gottfried made me remember.

I love that Gilbert Gottfried's in this! He was one of my favorite actors in movies and I always thought he was a very funny person, even with that voice he had! Rest in peace Gilbert Gottfried!😇🙏👼(1955-2022) you were really something!😃😉👍

I thought he was a great voice actor to and one of my favorite movies he was is was Disney's Aladdin as the voice of the parrot Iago

I saw this movie years ago, maybe 2012 or thereabouts. At this time it was on Netflix. I was in the second grade and was out with a friend and his dad, when I got home my mom and little brother were at the end saying that I should watch it. So I did and loved it! We always quoted Grayson, our favourite was “It’s a three inch doo!” Thanks for posting the whole movie because I have been looking for it for some time and couldn’t find it. I haven’t seen that friend since 2015 and I miss him a lot, I hope he hasn’t forgotten this movie, I know I haven’t.

I remember like it was yesterday. Just as I was about to watch Cyberchase on KZread and PBS app, I had a nap (only to dream of being in an apartment in NYC where a Gilbert Gottfried lookalike had died of a fall). After the dream ended with me running away back home, my mom woke me up from a nap to tell me that Gilbert Gottfried had died. I was like, "I knew this would happen anyway." He wasn't safe.

The quality of this movie is so good🥰how nostalgic

I miss life being an adventure, a quest. Very few it seems have this creative courageous approach to such a great gift as your life.....Im tired of the taxing things, the bad thing, the bad people with I'll motives and any thing lurking around the corners ready to grab us..the world has become to dangerous for innocent intriguing adventures...you can't be joyfully and innocently enjoying life anymore.....too many bad people have ruined it with their selfish motives and covetous spirits........I'm sad for this not to mention the garbage and pollution everywhere.....makes me sad what humans have done to our once beautiful world......crime and war etc.....can't last forever...well at least we can escape for a short bit with little adventure films like this one.

Strange, weird, very watchable. Overall great for kids, and bored adults like myself.

When I was about to change my mind, I stopped when I saw the best child actress ever, Chloe Mortez. I try to watch every movie she acted I don't know why. Jack came down with empty sack. No problem. He has a golden egg giving duck. Jack got all the riches, but he lost his father. Jack gonna marry his dream girl friend when he grows up. What about his mother, she is still young. Jack gonna get step-father in the future ❓💙💙💙

I was just waking up from my nap and my mother told me that Gilbert Gottfried had died of some heart problem.

Magical and adventure movie awesome.

Interesting version… but I think the one with Nick Hoult is the best one out of all the more recent versions and then one with Mathew Modine is great too.

Got a lot of well-known stars so get the popcorn and watch 😊

Jack stole, then murdered....great stuff for kids, huh?

Jack was spinning a long metal pole, but after that, he dropped it on the floor on purpose, along with a glass shattering sound and a squealing kitten sound.

I love this movie my childhood

i have never seen this version of jack&the beanstalk in my over fifty years of life ever... can i watch it all.. hmmmm good luck to me..

I had the original version with Mickey and the bonestalk on a 45 vinyl record

That version is on internet archive. The _best_ version that they have there is the last 3rd of a longer anthology movie, but it's intact.

Also rip Wallace Shawn. Funniest man ever. Loved him in all kinds of movies!

Two Cyberchase actors are in this film, but there are many others. Katey Segal, Colin Ford, Chloé Grace Mortez (or whatever her name is), and Wallace Shawn are in this. No wonder Gilbert Gottfried and Christopher Lloyd were also there. Despite what was read online, Lloyd and Gottfried first met earlier than the year 2014. Don't believe everything you read online.
