Was in Africa when several starting swimming under the water!!!!! I was shocked to say the least. The rangers and guides said: “yep”, as we were all taking photos.

Although elephants are very social, I notice that they are free spirited as well. Jabu is really enjoying his quiet time without other elephants being present.

Wow! I don't believe I've ever seen a male elephant enjoy his frolic like this in the water. -I'm wondering how his leg is doing. It is a miracle to see him like this! Elephants are so spectacular!

What a giant beautiful baby enjoying hide and seek and making those bubbles and a gorgeous weaves as a tsunami how much they appreciated to be in the water thank you guys to do this wonderful job to taking care of this beautiful elegant gorgeous animals but when they in the water you almost forget about how big and tall they are acting like a little babies in the pool thank you guys very much. It is amazing to be shown we are not the only intelligent life form even an elephant has a skin care method. I was amazed to watch him apply his own natural sunscreen n protection. Mind boggled!!

I have never seen another being besides human children this delighted to swim. I hope the day comes where we know how to really communicate. They are all so individual in temperament and personality. But tell me one thing. How many more viewers come to watch this in the last 4 year's because I find watching even a minute of a bad video a waste of my time. But I could watch this guy all day. And it helps me get thru another confusing day in America

@NSGca Fellow ele lover sadly Jabu died after being released to the wild. I don't understand why Sandi released him after her husband Doug was killed after walking Marula and Jabu on an early morning walk. He was trampled by a rogue musth bull who was harassing Marula The whole Jabu thing has been confusing since HERD 🐘🐘 also has a Jabu in the herd. He broke his leg so he walks slowly but he is an impressive site. HUGE! But gentle. But now I am concerned since we are hearing of these incidents more often Adine has a huge herd, but has control in the walkabout. But once I saw them charge her, then stop. The new albino orphan they were used to walking witth had arrived late. When they finally saw her they calmed down. What an impressive internal clock. Now they have a new one, a very tiny shy bull Phebani. When he was introduced to the herd, they all surrounded him with their backs to him. They started secreting and the tails pointing left. The way elephants always do with infants approached by danger My point, Aldine was their leader for decades, why would they need to do that? We love to watch them, but we need to stop identifying with them. They know more than us and tolerate us beautifully. But when it comes to their own babies, they all have different personalities. Have I sufficiently bored you? Because I have more where that came from

Always a pleasure to see Jabu or Morula enjoying their bath. I watched a documentary last night about elephants in Okawango Delta and they explained that at the origins, the first elephant specie now extinct, spent their lives in the water, a bit like hippos today. No wonder why Jabu looks like a whale sometimes, with long deep standing underwater.

Ever notice how Elephants are just sometimes fascinated with their trunks? I think maybe it's their sense of smell, it's pretty great

I love the water too, but miss it because of the pandemic, so I really enjoy watching Jabu play in the pool! I think of elephants, with their stature and nature, as the wisdom keepers of Africa.

My wife's name's Jabu. Jabu's a female name in West Africa. It's strange to see an elephant bull sharing the same name as my wife. What a wonderful world.

I have seen with my own eyes elephants swimming and playing in the waters such as this. Yet!!!!! Yet!!!!! When it starts raining!!!!! The elephants start freaking out!!!!! Pertaining 2 the baby elephant who kept getting hit with a trunk. This caused it NOT 2 B able 2 suckle. I think he hit the calf, 2 bring the mother running. She came quickly w/ the matriarch. He backed away from the matriarch. She put that big mean male n his place. Pertaining 2 this video, the water is blue & pretty & elephant enjoying ITSELF!!
