Jaboticaba, or Brazilian grape-tree makes a purplish-black, white-pulped fruit grows directly on the trunk of the tree. It is eaten raw or used to make jellies, jams, juice or wine. The tree grows slowly making it great for patios and growing in pots and making a bonsai tree.

    Sabara will take 9-10 years for fruiting.. But escarlet , Red hybrid and precose will take only 3-3.5 yrs

    There leaves will turn brown starting at the tips. If the water is filtered, this won't happen.

    The biggest fruiting is in March and then they continue to make flowers and fruit randomly throughout the year. They stop fruiting in the cooler months December and January for us. Thank you for watching!
