The group was originally founded in 2003 by Joe "Punkee" Larot and Kevin "KB" Brewer in San Diego, California. The Jabbawockeez first performance was at Culture Shock San Diego back in the days. They use to be known as the 3 Muskees with Joe, Kevin and Phil. I don't know the story of how all the other members join the crew but i believe it was the late Gary "Gee One" Kendall who brought them all together. They were in Step Up 2, Went on the show America's got talent. Around 2008 or something Gary Kendall pass away. It was his idea to have them on the show call ABDC. So they did everything to honor Gary. Originally the show was supposed to consist of Joe Larot, Kevin Brewer, Phi Nguyen, Phil Tayag, Rynan paguio, Gary Kendall and Chris Gatdula. Joe got injured and Gary pass away before the show. So they brought in Ben Chung from Kaba Modern who also competed in the show. Jabbawockeez won the first season of ABDC and their stardom rose from there. They have a show in Las Vegas call timeless at MGM grand. They use to perform at the Luxor before moving to MGM. Today the current Jabbawockeez are made up of younger dancers aka the young dragons plus the original. TJ Lewis, Austin Gutierrez, Gavin Pecson, and Juju are the new face and current legacy of the Jabbawockeez. Today members are:Kevin, Joe, Phi and Rynan (all original members) TJ, Austin, Gavin and Juju (all new members). Check out the Kinjaz cause they have two former Jabbawockeez (Ben Chung and Tony Tran) in that crew plus two guys who dance with them in their Vegas show and who also compete with them on America's best dance crew (Mike Song was in Kaba Modern and so was Tony Tran, Vinh Nguyen was with KB in a group call SGBM and dance in their Vegas show before).

They started 2003 with the 3 Muzkees. Then they breakout on ABDC Season 1 as Champion. America's Best Dance Crew. But prior they have been through movies like Step Up. Most of them are Asians settled in United States.
