The way you're teaching these kids would be PERFECT for teaching kids how to improv in music. You make them think and teach back what they learned. Super cool man. All teachers could learn from this.

I genuinely think this is ground breaking stuff. We get to see a future champion progress through his career through training and not just through his fights. We also get a proper insight into the teacher student dynamic and techniques and tactics that have been passed on and adopted. Just watch.. this will be studied down the line when this young man is bringing home 100k bonus's from Chatri Sityodtong

I’m 51 and have been involved in boxing, Applied Karate ( Gary Spiers original first ever Applied Karate ) and I’m just starting as a student of Muay Thai. I have found your teaching method to be the best I’ve seen on KZread I already can’t wait to go to the gym and practice the kick with the hip to the ceiling and opening the lead foot so the knee is facing the opponent also this teep combo. I was always trying to figure out how to land these perfectly and always thought something is missing ?? Thanks so much guys keep them coming 👊🏼🇬🇧❤️. Tommy.

do you always look to teep off of the half step? or do you ever fire it just off stepping out of the bucket, or is it more of a matter of distance?

What I don't understand here that how is the jab actually supposed to connect if you're in teep range. Like here he's hitting pads so its like 8 inches less distance than the coaches face would be to actually connect with the jab. Is my teep and jab range really supposed to be about the same? I don't see any movement forward or back during these combos between the two moves.

I think it's all based on timing suppose you fake a teep and if the opponent is aggressive and closes the gap that jab will land well

After seeing this vid I thought you guys might enjoy this fight from recent ONE Friday Fights. Young fighter out of Singpatong who had great distance control (more so in the second round) and very much embodied this tutorial. I'm sure he must've loved having Damien at the same gym for his fight camp too. kzread.infoWlXuYneOjtU?si=_Xt0PTlQggXlXLB4&t=10922
