The Star Wars Holiday Special was highly produced and expensive and was shit. Elitism around production and commentary doesn't really wash when Clash of Creators had 20k watching for 6 hours and was a MASSIVE success. It's a shame this has happened because I know Loz is massively behind this space and wants us all to grow together in this great new world we're creating.

I honestly used to like the guy, but his attitude this past year has completely changed. I don't know what's going on in his actual life, but he needs to keep his attitude away from the podcast and The Kick Off, as he is simply ruining the show.

There was literally no need for them to say any of that. They were just hurling insults and low-quality jokes at some charity event that some lad made in memory of his late dad. It was an incredible day and loved attending it❤ Massive respect to Tom & Callum and can't for the next Clash event!

Cancel culture is in full flow here. Really don't think what they said was anything bad..clearly it was one of there videos that they always do, ala true news where they take the piss. Are these snowflakes so offended? So what it is a charity event...it's was clearly a pisstake video. They where MEANT to make fun of them, be prentious. Most great comedians have no boundary's..like Gervais or Chappelle. Before people go ballistic..they are not even in the same universe as those comedians...but the point is...they were simply making a video that was clearly meant to take the piss. All these " Oh it's for charity wah wah wah" comments are just snowflakes that lives for criticism. Calm down for goodness sake. Perhaps the viewers that they have...the subscribers that they have..who all loyally watch them...knows that...they will always have healthy debates and opinions on the kick off, alot perhaps not agreeable, they will push the boundary on that front. Geordie has a lot of influence and if all of their followers are laughing along and going wow yeah this is a shit event with Laurence then that isn't helpful for the event. There's also nothing funny about what Laurence is saying because he isn't delivering the jokes in a way where he's making it clear that he's being a dickhead as like an act (which I guess is what he thought he was doing?) it just seems like he's genuinely shitting on them and it goes on for ages and ages the same shit. I think that’s the one reason why I think that’s something that he has problems with cause I’ve heard him say multiple times things that sound educated but are wrong for no reason. Never warmed to Laurence and stopped watching TG's channel (which I used to like during his newcastle rants) and have no idea what this is all about really. Laurence has the smug "i'm smarter than you" attitude that he tries to disguise as comedy but you can tell there is a real ego behind it. Probably not the worst guy but one of those people that I would steer clear of in real life.

I’m a True Geordie fan, and have been a big Loz fan from the beginning. But you are bang on here Jack for calling him out, so uncalled for.

You could tell throughout that Geordie was embarrassed by Laurence’s comments. If it wasn’t live he’d have probably pulled him aside and told him to rein it in. I do find Laurence funny at times, but quite frankly his arrogance and cockiness takes over most of the time.

This makes me so fucking happy seeing this, as a friend of loz and Brian jack could’ve easily brushed it under the rug as to not tarnish the relationship but when he said that he can’t just sit there and not say anything when they’re being cunty was spot on from him and to see all the creators involved showing love in the comment section of this video put a smile on my face. Big love to everyone involved in the event, big props to the young lad who set it all up and well done for calling out the bullshit.

That's what I find hilarious about the whole thing. He would be absolutely nothing without Geordie. If he got dropped tomorrow, he'd probably bring in 30 or 40k views a video whilst there's drama and then be forgotten after a few weeks. What does he actually offer? He's not that funny, his football knowledge is pretty much non existent and he has no rapport with guests.

Cancel culture is in full flow here. Really don't think what they said was anything bad..clearly it was one of there videos that they always do, ala true news where they take the piss. Are these snowflakes so offended? So what it is a charity event...it's was clearly a pisstake video. They where MEANT to make fun of them, be prentious. Most great comedians have no boundary's..like Gervais or Chappelle. Before people go ballistic..they are not even in the same universe as those comedians...but the point is...they were simply making a video that was clearly meant to take the piss. All these " Oh it's for charity wah wah wah" comments are just snowflakes that lives for criticism. Calm down for goodness sake. Perhaps the viewers that they have...the subscribers that they have..who all loyally watch them...knows that...they will always have healthy debates and opinions on the kick off, alot perhaps not agreeable, they will push the boundary on that front. They will always have the pisstake true news, light humour such as this about the clash event and alot of his followers will watch it. You would think he said something so cruel.... shocking reaction on here...and in the social. Thankfully the many and ever growing subscribers will continue to view them as it is entertaining and refreshing as there less snowflakes!

So true. I was actually shocked by Lawrence’s comments, for somebody who I thought was a very smart and considerate person, he came across like a massive twat. I thought it was very clear from the start that the organizers had a tiny budget for this event, and still managed to put together a good live stream. Lawrence needs a reality check, Geordie has carried the guy on his back. He’s a prick. It says something when I had to skip the bits that he spoke because I couldn’t help but cringe badly.

Jack is such a legend! You can really feel his development through the years, it's really good hosting. Keep it up 👍👏🙌

As someone who watches the kick off regularly, I can’t say this is a surprise, the way Loz speaks to Rory, Adam and Buvey is sometimes a little alarming when they have a difference of opinion on just football. This superiority complex is very off putting, and has sadly made me no longer want to watch the kickoff or TG podcast.

The Kickoff is nothing without the guests and when I first started watching it I thought Lawrence was doing his best Partridge impression but have since realized that it's not a bit.

I remember when I was 15, The Office had just come out and me and my mates all had the same style of comedy right down to the intonation. This was 20 years ago now, it's actually sad he's still doing this kind of stuff. A pitiable man in many ways.
