2000s -09s had really chill and catchy beats for rap and rnbs.. it wasn't harsh on the ears. you easily recognize the song even from the first few seconds coz they were unique and had their own flavor. sometimes u would even recognize that the song was from a specific artist right away 😣 i miss those days man

The song was really a hit because of MTV,,,,,KZread ain't available then,,,,,and to be a hit in the Philippines,it is a song you can really vibe to,,,love the reaction

Interesting, was there no BET in the Philippines. MTV did have it in constant rotation, but it was on all the NYC radio stations in regular rotation. It passed the true test of a hip hop hit, every shop and passing car playing it on Jamaica avenue in Queens.
