As a Lebron fan I also thought the Brooks ejection was a bit heavy. I don’t think the result would’ve been any different though ‘cos this Lakers team is the most frustrating squad at times - they relax too quickly with big leads and let their opponent back in the ball game whereas Boston, Milwaukie, Golden State and Pheonix don’t tend to have an “off button”. I would’ve wanted the Lakers to maintain a 20-point gap throughout to exert dominance. A 10-point win after that type of first quarter is just not good enough in my opinion.

Dillon trashes his idol, Green, then pulls Green's move and goes for the nut shot. The Green impression was made complete with the ejection, which Brooks deserved.
No, Dillon wasnt reaching for the ball, Bron had the ball on his left, with his torso and leg covering it from Brooks even before he did the behind the back. Dillon just tried to mask the punch like a reach in. Complete fool.
@ephalanx1
Жыл бұрын
I cant stand DB and his dumb mouth. However, the thought was that Lebron was going to cross which is what he does a lot. Easy to try and anticipate a move for a steal and reach at the wrong time. Plus Lebron is a classically trained actor as he always plays any brush foul into an Oscar winning performance. When is his flopping past going to be assessed in these altercations? Assessing intent is not the problem here. Yes, DB did it. However it was not intentional, or excessive. It wasn't a full on punch it was a reach and connected in the wrong place. Ejection should really be a last resort in the playoffs. Letting teams off the hook with this stuff.
@bangomargit
Жыл бұрын
@@ephalanx1 It wasnt a reach, you dont reach with your palm facing yourself. You try to reach for the ball, it was 100% intended imo. Also on your flopping remarks... everybody flops, dont act like Lebron is somehow the only one who does it.
