Both rookies are proving their many haters wrong. Stokes has been more impressive to me, he plays arguably the hardest position in NFL for a rookie and is showing up.

First of all, that throw before the half should have been picked by Savage. Burrow threw a slow floater and Savage was in position to easily get a hand on that or intercept but he just played the ball so poorly. And I think Stokes played well against Chase, but from what I've noticed he needs to do a better job squeezing WR's to the sideline on those outside routes. He leaves too much room between himself and the boundary, which allows a lot of room for QBs to drop the ball.

@0:45 - I don't know about this one here. Got beat clean off the line. Under thrown ball by Burrow and some very impressive make up speed and Stokes hustles to get himself back in the play - but he does not get his head turned around to play the ball, instead trying to play the eyes of the receiver to punch the ball as he catches it, but he contacts him too early and in my opinion this gets away with what could have easily been called pass interference. If you pause the video at just the right time you can see the Side Judge actually has his flag almost all the way out of his pocket but he decides not to throw it. Regardless, the young man definitely has loads of potential and will only get better with time. Also what a brilliant idea to draft Chase to play with Burrow, as they already had a great chemistry working in from their College days in Baton Rouge
