うちのジジイに喜寿祝いに桶屋近藤さんのぐい呑プレゼントしましたそしたら大喜びでした。こんな綺麗なの見たことない高かっただろ？と言われましたが値段相応の質の良さというかそれ以上でした。今は亡くなったがなくなる寸前までこのぐい呑大事に使ってました。最高の品をありがとうございました

No sanding = no dust! Always prefer the feel of a surface finished with a plane as opposed to a sanded surface. Beautiful work.

Don’t forget to buy a wood turning machine.

I agree with all the compliments and praise in the posted comments. The bandsaw was a bit of a shocker. But I suppose the custom tool used at the beginning and other hand tools are rather advanced too. Good art and good lesson in barrel making.

I love how there is so many different sized planers haha, people don’t recognise the Japanese for what they do and what they do is always perfection
