Nipsey was a different breed, yes he was a talented rap artist, one of my favorites but he was so much more than that. Listening to him just speaking still is inspirational, man was gifted and prolific. Im so glad I got to see him perform in San Diego and two things were different about him for one he was thick. With his homies on stage at least 30 deep. Also he performed for an incredibly long time and never once put his blunt down. He had an actual connection with his fans. When he first passed a lot of big names came seemingly out of nowhere speaking on Nip. It was clear love regardless but what i didn't know was people like the game, snoop, even my other top rapper keeping the West Coast alive mozzy. They all knew him personally and fucked with him. Its tragic he died and I hope he's twisting up wit pac but one thing him going out like that will immortalize his memory and carry his legacy on.
