Interesting way to remove dead snail shells. I like their buffering ability for the water but great if you love an emaculate tank.

О да! У меня в 300л появились улитки речные и катушки, они размножились до ~1000. Всего 2 Хилены размножились до 10 и за пол года уничтожили всех улиток, до единой! Я не верил в это, когда мне их предложили!🔥🔥🔥

Water bottle, cut off bottom, connect to a 1” pvc pipe. Run tube through the middle. You know have this tool 😊

@@sharky62429 I don’t but I can try and explain it better. You will need 1” pvc pipe Water bottle, 3/4 or smaller rubber/silicone/pex tube Cut the pipe to the length you want the tool to be Attach the piece of pipe to the water bottle lid with gel type glue or silicone. Let it fully cure, then run the piece of smaller diameter tube through the PVC tube till it comes out inside the water bottle. And poof you have this same tool. No pump is needed it operates off of syphon

@@jhondoe1483 thanks for answering. So the other side of the PVC pipe IS put inside a bucket? The gravity do the job, After you vacuum some water, like a straw, in the pipe ,and put the other side in the bucket. I'm right ? Cause it's looks it's vacuum strong

@@sharky62429 so the pvc has no vaccume, the rubber tube that goes through the middle of the pvc is where you create a syphon

Just make your own, the best thing about fishkeeping is nearly all things can be DIY with items discarded from your home daily as rubbish I’ve wasted so much money on the “best” equipment in the hobby only to realise that the simplest way is nearly always the best way

Gorgeous tank...unfortunately I'll never know the ecstasy of having a tank that big. I'd probably mess it up. I'm horrible at aquascaping. Actually my big tank, big for me 55g, I get a lot of compliments on and I agree somehow I did a good job on that one, but if I had a tank as big as this one I'd be lost. I'd probably through in a bunch of amazon frogbit, lots of driftwood and 500 cardinal tetras, and call it a day

Dulu di kampung ku juga gitu, sering terjadi pencurian, hampir tiap hari ada saja tetangga yang kehilangan matreal bangunan dan barang barang lainnya, tapi sekarang alhamdulillah katanya sudah aman, tidak ada lagi tetangga yang mengeluh kehilangan walaupun di taruh di luar rumah juga aman semenjak aku pergi merantau

I made one that was made from a water bottle and some hose glued through the cap. Worked great as the bottle had rots of room for the disturbed gravel to fall back down and waste to be sucked up.

this is helpful but what if my fish goes under the vacuum after I put it in the bottom of my tank? just like it goes inside the vacuum when I put it in

You can make these with a bottle and some tubing. Very cheap and easy.

@@jenniepearl5363 also, you can pinch the hose to slow down the suction so the gravel can fall down, more likely to happen with sand and small gravel, large gravel will just fall on its own. You'll see what I mean once you try it. Use a clear bottle so you can see what's going on. Also the thicker the bottle the better as a thin bottle will bend and not go into the gravel so easily
