This particular recording of BWV 544 was made for Phillips and released for 1973, as the first part of a 2 volume set of Bach organ works recorded on the 1734 Müller organ in Waalse Kerk Amsterdam, where Leonhardt was organist from 1959-1982. Most of the set have been digitally transferred and are widely commercially available, except for this Prelude and Fugue - so I am uploading it here to remedy this.

This fugue was played by Bernard Winsemius at Leonhardt's funeral service at the Amsterdam Westerkerk, on January 24, 2012.
Organ built by Christian Müller (Of Haarlem St. Bravo fame) in 1734, using parts of the previous Nicolaas Langlez organ of 1680 and its possibly older Flemish Hoofdwerk case. Restored by Ahrend & Brunzema in 1965 and adjustments made by Henk van Eeken in 1993.
