Very impressive how she keeps the hierarchy of the beats and the ciaconna feeling throughout the whole piece. A great choice of tempo, not letting the piece sink ever. Very clear articulation with bow and fingers. Amazing performance over all. A pleasure to hear it again and again

I've heard something like 150 different versions of the chaconne and I've never seen this level of precision. This is probably the best. The tuning is perfect, every phrase is well crafted. The style is constant and the rythm is spot on through the whole piece. Tsense of unity. The flow never feels rushed nor slow... This is a magnificent performance. In the delirium part ( 04:30 - 06:04 ) every voice is is jaw droppingly clear and sharp, the tuning is perfect ... the articulation is amazing... A real jewel. The best performance of the best music in the world... for free. Thank God and thank you for this.

KZread is full of Chaconnes. It has affected every instrument other than violin. Viola, cello, mandolin piano, even hapsichord, double bass, even some home made instruments that I do not know what to call them. Including Cecilia I heard many very bright superb performances like this one. Most of them play it from memory which is a monumental achievement to play Bach from memory , and many play the whole partita which is about 30 minutes long. Cecilia produces a fantastic sound considering she uses a period violin and bow, I dont see any shoulder rest , just an anti slip piece under the violin or chin rest attached to the violin, also I think no chin rest either. She is fantastic with a fantastic violin.

Mille bravos ! Une belle énergie de bout en bout, et une vision tres cohérente de l'ensemble des 32 variations. Le tempo d'ensemble est un peu rapide a mon goût, c'est très impressionnant dans les passages virtuoses mais les variations de caractère plus mélancolique ou méditatif perdent en expressivité.

Is the violin a N. Amati as stated in the intro or is it the Camilli that is on loan? It sure doesn't look like a Nicolo to me! The varnish is more like what I would expect to see on a Camilli violin. A nice performance of the Chaccone that is worth listening.

me gusta en verdad ,es una virtuosa seguro ,pero no logro disfrutar estas versiones antiguas refiriéndome al estilo, siempre escucho dentro de mi lo que hacen o hicieron mas bien Heifetz kogan o Ricci, Menuhin spivacof ,este estilo es el que siento mas real y efectivo ,pero para gusto se han hecho los estilos y colores claro
