Sounds good "TheHausch"....Big fan of Allan's tone, lead and clean of course. I have an idea of getting a new Tonex One capture pedal and capturing (or finding a capture) of a Magic Stomp Lead Tone....

Thank you! Yeah, if you want the lead tone he actually used a lot, it’s in the DG Amps and Stomp: Lead 1, Gain 6-7, Treble 3, Mids both 7, Bass 0, Presence 1. You can also access the DG patches/settings in the Magicstomp. As you probably know he used 6, but would run the DG Lead 1 settings on one and another for spatial effects for his lead tones…The Rockett AH Pedal doesn’t have his lead tone in it which is odd that it turned out that way, but it’s really more of a super versatile boost with a bit of gain on tap which he also liked to use to send things a bit over the top for his lead tone also…appreciate it!

I am convinced Allan worked closely with the Yamaha engineers on the Magic Stomp DG lead tone, like nerd level. The distortion does not sound like any typical distortion we have heard. It’s tight, it’s smooth, it’s pleasant to listen to, almost synth like, and I think Allan conveyed that to the Yamaha engineers.
