This performance was everything!!! I really hope she’s able to go to the next Olympics because honestly, she deserves to podium so badly with skating like this! This season is her season!

THIS is how you bring a skater back from an injury. No need to rush into doing difficult technical elements, just do what you can do reliably and build the difficulty back in slowly over time. Very refreshing to see in a sport where so often injured athletes are rushed into trying technical content that they’re just not ready to perform in competition

definitely underscored but i'm so happy looking at her growth. I'm so excited on what's in store cos I know she'll surely bump up the difficulty of this program & it'll become more beautiful. really really wonderful to see her on ice.

Such a great skate ❤The PCS was a mess at this event. Clearly, the judges are dinging her for missing last season. She’s increased flow, speed, and presentation, yet the judges aren’t awarding that growth. We’ve seen that time and again from skaters who attempt to improve, yet lose to favoritism. Leona is brilliant, but her PCS here was too high relative to the others. If you’re a world medalist, I guess you get a buffer for a season or two.

Happy to see her skated her best after suffered from injuries. It's not perfect yet without 3A but disappointed a bit because of underscored. She cannot go to the final this season but still has a chance to go to the world next March if she did well at the Japanese national in late Dec. I hope so.

She is NOT underscored. Her content does not even have a triple Lutz and only 1 flip. It's good that they are taking time with her recovery and she definitely deserves to be rewarded for her skating but please understand the scoring system first before accusing anyone of impropriety.

not underscored? I hugely disagree. hahaha. Rika scoring that low in PCS with a more difficult program than Skate Canada? do take note she finished both with green boxes 😊

@@unknownicarus233 so you are crying over a less than 2 points pcs decrease which wouldn't have put her in the podium anyway? Who are you a Fanyu? Besides, at skate America she was up against who? Starr freaking Andrews, so of course her PCS would look amazing relative to the field. She's up against a higher tier competition here, making her slow cross cuts and simple choreography that much more obvious. Facts. No amount of hahaha buffoonery will change that.

That PCS is BS and both of them (Tracy + Rika) know it. I’m just glad she got out of this healthy.
