I loved Kyoto during my visit in 2010. Without any advanced planning during my two-week stay in Tokyo, I booked a bullet train to Kyoto and spent the day there, walking all around the ancient city and even watching a show in Gion Corner. It turned out I completely lost track of time and I wound up missing the last train out; so I wound up having to stay overnight at a local hotel!

I want to get lost in this town.......so beautiful....so beautiful shots....amazing...work

I went to Kyoto last December just one month before the COVID-19 outbreaks. Kyoto will always be one of my most favourite cities. Even just wandering around the city made me happy. I look forward to visiting Kyoto. From Taiwan

I’m Japanese. I think Kyoto is a city that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of modern society and reminds you of old Japan. However, there are too many foreign tourists in Kyoto now, so it's not Japan anymore 😵‍💫

Great quality and cinematic look. Some constructive criticism: the pans where way too fast, need to slow it down to take in the atmosphere, maybe one or two fast ones but not all of them, it doesn't match with the very calm and slow moving/low action scenes.

The first time I saw Gekko, I literally panic to pull out the phone out of my pocket, she walked quite fast and I didn't captured her. Weeks after, just gave out the idea of it. Just a lil bow and smile every time me and Gekko passed each other. In several ocassion, she smiled back. Love your great videos, sir.

I'm just not sure if there are some way to call Geiko for Gekko, and Video Channel-san says "Thank you for poetic message" I thought it is because in Japanese "GekkŌ" (月光) means "Moonlight" 🌒 so it suddenly looks like poetic? I just don't know which is real so wrote that. Thank you for sharing your story 😆

To me, Kyoto is the city that time forgot, but in all the good ways. I love all the traditional and cultural displays that are still so visible to all...the geisha, the machiya-style homes, the respect for nature...it is, to me, the city of my dreams.
