リズムだけでは無く『音楽が見える』という感覚をこの子達に教えてもらいました。 この素晴しい伝統をいつまでも。

いつもなら正面から撮影されて影に隠れて見えないパーカス隊ですが、この映像はパーカス隊主体の貴重な動画だと思います。 スーザのゆるちゃんとパーカッションと銅鑼のライちゃさんが可愛くて堪りませんね。 こんなの見られる試合なら何度見に行ってもいい。

それぞれのパートが注目を浴びる「橘」って、ヤッパ凄いね！

全てのパートが見てて楽しくなる演奏って素晴らしいですね この日本に夢、元気、笑顔を与える学校って素晴らしく思います

プロ銅鑼マーの子ノリよくて好きだわ〜

このパーカスの6女子はどのパレード、ステージでも本当に可愛い笑顔で、仲良しですよね。

大抵の動画では気になっていたけどほとんど写っていなかったパートの方の演奏が見れて良かったです。

時々画面左に現れるスーザフォンの運動量も凄いですね。

新生”京都橘116期”パーカス隊中心の映像ありがとうございます。いつも笑顔のペンギンちゃんは、114期の木琴ちゃんを思い出しますね！マルチなペンギンちゃん頑張って！！

Wait, there were six percussionists in the video. Five of them must be Class 117. So Ms Penguin was the only senior (Class 116) that time.

At least 50% of the entertainment that this band brings to any event is confined to the percussion section. Just the beaming smiles and bobbing pony tails alone is worth the price of admission. Thanks for keeping the camera pointed at the lovely ladies at the back.

It's the band's founder who set the tone that continues to this day. How the school manages to attract the members they do, and then imbue them with this happy attitude, I do not know, but it certainly works. I'm with you, although I'm more partial to Tippi. She graduated and moved on, but her shadow will always remain in the percussion section. They should erect a foamboard cutout of her back there and stand it behind the 3-drum set.

This Bounce was passed down to " P-chan " , who has passed it on to these members. Who in turn pass it on to the incoming 119th Percussion Class. :)

Watching other bands performance, I inevitably still come back Kyoto Tachibana. ❤️

みんなが主役なんだ！協調しながら役割果たす。やっぱり橘は凄い！

短い時間の出演だったので、こんなに多くの人がUPしていただけるとは想像しませんでした。現地ではパーカスが少し見づらい位置だったのでこの動画うPには本当に感謝です！

ナイスです！！ １年生も随分と成長しましたね。 元気をありがとう！！

やっぱりドラムは新2年生。1年の時から堂々として違ってたからな～。ペンギンちゃんがコンガをたたいている腕の上り、手首柔らかさ、指先の流れ全部綺麗だな。

先輩たちのDNAを受け継いでさらなる発展ですねｗ

I'm sure lots of people in Britain would love to see Tachibana high school band perform live.But it would have to be in either in The Royal Albert hall or Wembley stadium.Then a smaller part of the band could play in theatres around the country

シングでのティンパニの音替え、大変な回数していることがわかりました。適当に和音で4音合わせてるだけかと思ってた… しかも音替え忙しいから靴脱いでるね。笑顔で結構すごいことやってるよ笑 最後ドラ倒れそうで危なかった！ 何があっても笑顔が徹底されててすごい！

2019ペンギンちゃん🐧達‼️安定＆安心感、流石ですね(^^)今年も東京遠征期待したいです。アップありがとうございました😊

パーカッションの115期の親分2人が引退してしまって寂しいですが。。。 それを吹き飛ばすくらいの笑顔、元気な演奏演技が見れて最高です。 やっぱり橘高校のパーカッションは他の高校に比べて何に惹かれるのか考えると この笑顔と元気で楽しそうな演奏姿なんでしょうね。 新3年生は一人はCG担当することが多くてペンギンちゃん一人で大変そうですが頑張れ～！

A fine testament to hard work and tons of practice.

Notice the injured band member ( in the black track suit) on a crutch and a first year student with a mask on playing and dancing along behind the band in the top left of the video. at 5:00 with sing sing sing. she cannot help playing the music with her hands and moving even though she is hurt. Cute. first she plays as if she is fingering the notes then starts to dance. at 7:35 she joins in the finale. Nice.

In my experience, from being in marching band and being a staff member of a HS marching band, sick and injured students (that were able to travel with the band) would normally be on the sidelines playing or at least marking time...as their condition allowed. I've just recently discovered this band and my oh my, I wish I could have marched with this band!

I have seen a few videos showing the band practicing, and the 1st year kids, who at the start of the school year aren't allowed to get out there with the band, will stand in back and intently watch the band as they rehearse. They sometimes take notes, and you will see them walking the steps, doing the hand movements, etc, just as the gal on crutches is doing in this video. They are very determined to learn how their senpai do it. It works, because today's 3rd year students were those same 1st year students two years earlier.

Being in a band such as this requires a dedication for excellence that is understood by the students even before they join. When i went to High School many years ago our band had a long history and reputation so i knew what was expected at the outset. As good as we were we were beginners compared to this group! These kids join this for the love of what they do and judging by their playing ability i would guess the standards for membership are very high. The injured girl obviously wants to be in the performance very much; you can even see her doing the steps as best as she can. I also think she is probably a trumpet player by watching her fingering the notes. I hope she has made a full recovery by now and is back with the group. I only wish the band would get a Paypal account as i would make regular contributions to help support this outstanding group!

Something I did not realize until I saw another video from a couple of months ago: watch the gal in the foreground playing the kettle drums. Those things are "tuned" with a foot pedal. For Sing, Sing, Sing, she is playing a little walking bass line to the song. You see her set the foot pedals as the song progresses, tuning the drums as she goes. It's not obvious on the video what those bass lines are, but they follow the tuba. More attention to detail that makes the band so darned fun to watch.

That explains to me what she was doing instead of waving her hands like some of the others -- I suspected she had to do something important. The way everything is choreographed to the most minute detail is amazing!

Thank you for focusing the percussion section. It must be thanks to 114th percussion especially Tippi that it has been getting more attention! The only senior from 116th playing the gong is really cute :) so we have 117th as main percussionists for 2 years just like 114th did? :)

山本様　こんにちは。 板違いになりますので詳しくは控えますが、自分は自宅にレコーディングルームを持ってましてそこにはSAX、FLも含めた殆んどの楽器を揃えています。 自分もそれらの楽器を嗜んではみますがカスタネットひとつも満足に扱えません(＾◇＾) 橘の部員さんたちはどのパートに就いてもステップも完璧、笑顔もパーフェクトで扱えることが出来て凄すぎます。 感動、感動の演技、演奏に涙、涙です。

Penguin, is so precious, not because she is my adopted grandaughter, (okay not really), but she is truly awesome. She brings that spirit of enthusiasm as when Chippi was also part of the Kyoto Tachibana Marching band. Both Chippi and Penguin are solid standouts, although it isn't fair to say, because all of the band members are all standouts, some more than others, maybe I'm just being a little bit bias when it comes to both Chippi and Penguin. Penguin, plays her instruments with the true essence of Chippi, after Chippi was her senpai. 😃These two young ladies are irreplaceable. They leave behind a big legacy and I sure miss the times that both Chippi and Penguin played side by side. ペンギンはとても貴重です。彼女が私の養子である孫娘だからではありませんが（実際にはそうではありません）、彼女は本当に素晴らしいです。 彼女は、チッピーが京都橘マーチングバンドの一員だったときのような熱意をもたらします。 チッピとペンギンはどちらも確実に傑出していますが、言うのはフェアではありませんが、バンドメンバー全員が全員、何人かは他の人よりも傑出しているため、チッピとペンギンの両方に関しては、おそらく私が少し偏見を持っているだけかもしれません 。 ペンギンは、チッピが先輩だったので、チッピの真髄を持って楽器を演奏します。 😃この二人はかけがえのない存在です。 彼らは大きな功績を残してくれたので、チッピとペンギンが一緒にプレーした時代が懐かしいです。 Penguin es tan preciosa, no porque sea mi nieta adoptiva (bueno, en realidad no), pero es realmente increíble. Ella trae ese espíritu de entusiasmo como cuando Chippi también era parte de la Banda Marchante Tachibana de Kyoto. 今気がつきました。シング×3でティンパニーの部員さん靴を脱いでるんですね😍 ティンパニはペダルで音程を調整してるので絶対音感と高度な技術が必要だと思いますがこれだけ頻繁に調整しながらの演奏って凄いですね😍
