The best Tachibana's group ever between 2017/2018, i love so much!😍

良いですね。音が良く出ていて誰も乱れない。きっちりハーモニーも決まっています。ダンスもメリハリばっちり。この舞台は橘の中でも上位にくると思いました。素晴らしい。

2018年1月のローズパレードに行った現役生達ですね。キレッキレのパフォーマンスに感動しました。さすがマーチングの伝統校京都橘の面目躍如たるものがありますね。素晴らしい。

🦂La brava Chippy quando arriva ai tre tamburi si fa sentire, prima di lei ci fu la brava Yuina che si faceva sentire, ma lei era alla batteria. Sono d'accordo con alcuni commenti che ho precedentemente letto: il periodo 2016 - 2018 è stato il più bello delle Orange, sia come musica che marching.

前T顧問がインタビューの時、「すごいですね」というインタビュアーに対し、「毎日見てるとそうでもないんですけどね」と言っておられましたが・・・確かにそういう部分はあるかもしれません。 最初はROSEパレードの動画を観てすぐに涙が出てきましたが・・・ 毎日観てると感動が薄まると、あまり観ないようにしようと思うのですが・・・無理でした。 結局毎日、京都橘吹奏楽部の動画を観て、見始めると最低でも２時間は見続けてしまい、寝不足続きです。 特に米国での演奏動画が好きです。 やはり観客が盛り上がっていると観ていて（関係者では無いけれど）嬉しくなってしまいます。 米国人は感動すると身体全体で表現する・奇声を上げる、日本人は呆気にとられる・涙するの違いでしょうか。

ステージでの演奏を見初めのころはカラーガードのいる価値はどうなんだろうと思ってましたが、彼女たちが踊ってないと物凄く寂しいだろうと思うようになりました。カラーガード隊がいてこそ、演奏が一層華やかに聞こえてくるんだと思います。

As much as I love all of the Tachibana content on You Tube, the 2017/2018 band is by far my favorite. They just seem to be a bit more precise, and seem to be having more fun than the others. They're all great, but I believe this group is just a little better.

この舞台は演奏力ダンスと振り付けが最高。選曲も良かった。それにカラーガードの皆さんは上手い。カラーガードの影響力が今回のように、大きい事を味わいました。 11:25

If you look at the flutist (front left of stage, as you view), this is the girl who has a prosthetic (left) leg. She also went out to the US for the Rose Parade and danced/played the whole way. She became an inspiration to so many. When her identity was finally revealed by the school, people who heard this cried. Her name is Jinmaru Hitomi. She was born disabled in one leg but grew up in a musical environment. She hated being seen without long pants but one day, she said she wanted to be an orange devil. She underwent surgery to be able to perform. Her determination should not be hidden and we can all encourage her to be bold and brave by giving her a thumbs up or support her with your comments. Kudos to the school teachers who supported her all the way. KTSHS shows inclusivity in a way some other institutions just talk about.

For any of these young people to be able to do what they do is impressive, but in her case it is nothing short of outright incredibly amazing. I hope that she is as proud of her accomplishments as she deserves to be, and I'm sure that she is doing other incredible things now.

Totally agree - unfortunately. They could make you gasp, feel good, and just enjoy their performances. Not everything is "not the same" but it seems the new Music Director has a different "taste" or "feel" for many of the familiar tunes, and introduces a lot more serious stuff. This is maybe okay in a concert environment (but balanced with more lively stuff) but there street parades are just not the same. Swing tunes have very little swing left in them. I fear things could be very different if they do go to the Rose Parade in 2025. They will of course play very well but I´m not sure the tunes will grab the audiences as in 2017-18. I hope I am wrong as I am full of admiration for these students. Has the spark gone or is it just no being brough out?

🦂Il 2017 assieme ai successivi prima della pandemia sono quelli in cui le Orange hanno espresso la migliore musica e la migliore sincronia nei movimenti, almeno sino ad oggi (05 - 2024). Il merito a tutti i ragazzi ma, in particolare, ai Proff Tanaka e Yokoyama.
