He also planned for the mv to mimic Simba at the beginning, it's the same alleyway. J Cole is an amazing lyricist and rapper, it seems so effortless for him. It's a great song! J.Cole verse is fire, J-hope's verse is short but both killed it! 🔥 J. Cole is his muse. If you like hip-hop you will definitely like a lof of J-hope's songs and also a lot of BTS' songs but I have to mention that their discography is huge and so diverse (They have 3 rappers and 4 singers). You should check them out! Btw, they sampled Born Sinner and it's called 'Born Singer', I think they released it in 2014 but last year they added that song to their latest album 'Proof' because it's really special for them. J-hope also mentioned J.Cole as one of his biggest inspirations along with other rappers in the BTS song "hip-hop lover/phile". I think you can maybe react to those two with the lyrics of course.
