I'm dying laughing because you nailed the Grammys. They invite them to perform and of course tease them being on until the very end because they need ARMY for their sorry ass ratings. But do they give them an award? Of course not. I think they've burned them enough times that we're all over it. Honestly if I had to choose between a Grammy and them finding more people like you who appreciate their talent that wouldn't even be a hard decision.

You just can't miss this incredible concert. A crowd of over 100,000 and something like 15 million watching online. Everyone sang their hearts out along with J-Hope. It was just such an exciting concert.

“Fuck the Grammys” has been our theme song the last three years as the guys have had 5 noms, getting pulled to do performances near the end of the show as pretty much headliners and getting - ZERO. You are 💯 percent correct how we feel about them at this point 😂 Also echoing the Lollapalooza comments to watch the whole show from last year where he performed JITB and his other mixtape Hope World and other songs live. He was the final day headliner on Sunday and 100k+ watching him live 💜

Hobi is a genius. And also is so disciplined, dedicated, and bold. You know he took so much risk releasing More and Arson since they're not Kpop/Korean usual taste yet despite knowing this, he did release such a old-school song. He is someone who is so unpredictable, talented, and creative who takes so much risk! He is dangerous af If you ask me. he will make a big name in some couple of years ahead, mark my words

Aren't Jhope's versatility and creativity just insane? Going from such a grunge boom-bap old-school song to on the street, a lofi hip-hop song! None of his songs sound the same. He is a musical genius who is blooming, and all the bop songs he made for BTS prove it more. (More and Arson are in Jack in the box) and he said this album is the very base and foundation of his solo career that he's been planning for a long time! literally, can't wait for this man's future projects! he puts so much thought into his works.

One because he was the only one not getting fan mail. 2 some bad fans were saying he was ugly and needed to quit. 3 he wore a mask when they first debuted. I noticed his bt21 character meng is coming out to be a character that's wearing a mask. He rewritten him to take off his mask. He's going to make him into a cute squirrel. One he takes off the horse mask. I love love love jhope he's my bias. He's not only a genius, and caring Bright person I think he's beautiful inside and out.

Spanish and Korean mix 😊 He used to love dancing to that song when he was younger. When More started at Lollapalooza the crowd indeed went crazy. The energy in the crowd was insane!! Brasstracks are the producers for More and j-hope with Ivan Jackson (half of Brasstracks) is the composers. If you wanna see j-hope dance I would recommend Boy Meets Evil as a start as it's a MV and he's both singing/rapping and dancing or the all time amazing Chicken Noodle Soup where j-hope takes on the 00s famous song together with Becky G. He himself (not label) paid full royalties to Bianca Dupree as a sign of respect and appreciation as CNS was also a song he grew up dancing to, so it's a similar story to On the Street.

dance: you can look up a Baepsae/Silver Spoon compilation of his freestyles at the end - he designed a different one for each performance (the official "dance practice" that gap for a freestyle was assigned by chance and Suga lost, so it's just him being silly in the dance practice video) sometimes j-hope posts just him practicing stuff … usually not very long, a lot of them are "Bangtan Bombs," but one of my favs was a livestream during April 2020 and it's like an hour of him alone in a dance studio, just stretching and practicing … it's no good for a reaction vid but it was super-comforting during the shutdowns that he shared his own emotional processing that way

You called it, performed at the Grammys for their ratings but Scammies said Nope to the deserved recognition . Lollapalooza was fist time performing Jack in the box. The energy Hobi brings is amazing. Jhope also goes live , called HOPE ON THE STREET, and just free styles some great stuff showcasing his dance skills. Your reactions are so on it. Thank you.

OMG, I love your reactions. Your face at the drop. I love it Punk Rap, my 2 fave genres. He does love his old school beats. At Lollapalooza, people who didn't know where waiting g for some Kpop idol and out came a Rock Star. He killed it. You would love the songs a Piece of Peace, Equal Sign and What If that samples Shimmy Shimmy Ya. He even does a visual tribute to ODB during his performance. And More and Arson with the live band are just brilliant!!!!! You just endeared yourself to every ARMY. They have been nominated 6 times for a Grammy. No wins. And you nailed it. But their performance of Butter was legendary and showed those people what a live performance should be. 😘💜🖤🤟🏻🫰🏻

You nailed the Grammy’s perfectly! They only use the guys and us for views and railings. They have invited them a few times to perform and had them towards the end because they wanted the ratings. Namjoon/RM saying “I Told You” after the first lose hurt so much because they deserve the stupid Grammy for all the hard work they put in to their craft but like you said who the fuck are the Grammys to say BTS don’t deserve it?! You definitely need to check out Jack In The Box, Indigo by RM and D-2 by Suga. And Jimin just realest his first album a last week gotta check him out too. Can’t wait for more reactions. Hey Gameboy, Thanks for taking the time to review More by j-hope, really appreciate it man. I know you appreciate lyricism and dissecting meaning so I thought I'd point out a few things about his lyrics here (I speak Korean and Japanese) What’s translated as ‘in my element’ in the first verse is 물 만난 물고기(fish in water) in korean, and it refers to= Someone in an environment they thrive in, often used in context when someone’s absolutely flourishing/or as someone who dances as naturally as fish breathe in water-which is j-hope w his art/music/dance, his roots being in street dance. I also want to point out he has multilingual double-entendres here: 1. His reference to Dali= the experimental painter, reads as 달리 (pronounced 'Dali') means = Differently in Korean. it means he wants to create groundbreaking art like Dali, 'differently' 2. Kit-kat= he takes in feedback like sweet treats, absorbs them like his own and appecaites it: but in Japanese Kit-Kat can be short for kitto katsu,= win for certain/win no matter what (which are incidentally also lyrics from their song 'ON') 3. This is less certain, this is just my take, but as a Korean to me the way he pronounces I’m still " not enough" sounds like « 난리나 , nalli-na »in korean, which means to create an upheaval/storm/rage Thanks again! I hope you enjoy his artistry and do check out his dance! :) Check out live performances of Outro: Ego and Trivia: Just Dance for that!

He was very nervous and tired but it still is an awesome concert well filmed and all

You mentioned the crowd growing crazy singing this song. He opened his Lollapalooza set with this song, and sure enough, the whole crowd was singing along. You mentioned wanting to check out the "Jack in the Box" album. He did most of those songs at Lollapalooza. I find it more enjoyable to watch the live concert performance (you can find the whole concert on KZread) than to listen to the album. Also, it was at Lollapalooza that he met J.Cole. (J.Cole performed the night before J-hope did). There is footage of J-hope meeting J.Cole. It is cute to see. Even though J-hope has achieved mega superstardum with BTS, he is still an excited fan when he meets J.Cole, who he has been a fan of for years. You mentioned that you can see that he can dance. From the videos you have reacted to, you have not seen nothing yet as far as his dancing. Although the whole BTS group can dance, J-hope is generally regarded as the best dancer. Him and Jimin had extensive backgrounds before joining BTS. I would recommend searching J-hope dance to see some of his dancing skills.
