Hobi is not mean, he's just not a harsh person. But, he's the type of person people dread to disappoint and REALLY want to impress, that's why everyone takes his feedback and everything he says very seriously. The scary thing about him too, is simply how sharp he is: you may think he wouldn't notice if someone behind him does a small mistake, but he notices. He's also extremely meticulous and detail oriented, but you could argue anyone who has to live up to such high standards like Bangtan has to be that meticulous. It's a good thing in some ways though, I've seen a couple of concert moments in which there was something unexpected in the floor that could be dangerous, and Hobi often notices it in the middle of the performance and makes sure other members don't trip or hurt themselves. And he does it so smoothly, without missing the steps, without disturbing the choreography too much.

If a teacher is not demanding in a classroom, only the ones determined to learn, will do anything. However, J-Hope is dealing with people as perfectionist as he is. He just has to lead and point out errors. There is obviously no ego here on any side. They all want it perfect, all can make mistakes. Notice how Jin has to practice outside of practice to keep up. He does what is necessary to be a strong part of the group. No one has to tell him it will take extra effort to dance at this level. He accepts it and does the work. If anyone were dissing or cruel with mistakes, it would destroy this group: this goes for voice as well as dance. The group might hold together for awhile, but the love, humor, and joy would be gone. They trust J-Hope, as well as each other. This is very rare in any group.

I completely agree. This is why a lot of competition dance teachers are strict when when it comes to teaching and making sure everyone is executing the choreography perfectly. But of course, you don’t have to be evil or something to be a teacher.

Normally I'm down with teachers being a little more strict, but I'm going to have to say that I prefer lenient teachers. I need structure to learn, but I need a teacher to understand that things do not usually come easily for me and often it can look like I'm slacking when I'm really just putting all my energy into staying afloat and healthy. I had this one teacher in elementary school who kind of traumatised (Idk if that's the right word, but like, this still affects my life today) me by trying to force me to learn time management all of a sudden. I learned bad habits from my parents and I've also always struggled with time because it seems to move at different paces for me, but she insisted that I had to learn otherwise I would be failing people for the rest of my life. To make things worse, I was going through a lot at that time (puberty ain't fun for a transgender kid who has no idea why they suddenly hate their body), and my teacher managed to get every adult in my life to focus on my one "issue" instead of supporting me where I actually needed it. So yeah, it's not entirely her fault, but her being strict with a kid that was struggling and telling them that they had to learn a skill they didn't understand in order to not hurt the people they love wasn't the best thing for a ten year old 😁 Luckily, I had a more lenient teacher the next year who understood that I was going through some stuff. She gave me more grace and helped me work out how to prioritize things so that I improved a little by secondary school. Some people would say that you shouldn't let a kid get away with such bad habits, but she probably saved my life by giving me the space to understand myself and learn how to take care of other issues. But I'm sure Hobi would be a much, much better strict teacher! Sorry for the long comment lol 😂 I can't resist a good prompt and Sebastine always gives great ones!

I've thought about what they could do after bts, and I think hobi would be an awesome MC for a variety show. He'd be the cooolest, imagine all the hoobaes being like so honored to be in the presence of a former bts member? ufff and he will be waaaaay more cool than some assholes MC that korea has. Also I think that (even tho I feel like yoongi wouldnt like to continue being a public personality after bts) he would be awesome as a radio show host, he has done some DJing in bts-related content, but I think he has that soothing voice perfect for like a night show on the radio haha. And I feel like jk would be just like Running man's jungkook lol he is perfect for that type of physically-challenging shows haha idk, This is just assuming they will have a public carreer post bts, but of course it depends on them and we all respect that. If they decide to retire and focus on their families 100% that would be awesome as well

There are definetly two types of strict teachers in any sports. There are those who just keeps yelling and pushing no matter what, about Everything and then there are those who are more detail focused. Jhope is definetly the later one. They have mutual respect for one another and he doesnt see him self better than others, but at the same time he is extremely nit picky about the little details. And since other members admire his talent, and experience that is larger than theirs, so of course they are gonna listen him with everything. It benefits the whole team. He has very natural talen of teaching and leading people.

Btw You see how Jimin often helps out teaching to in these clips and just stands kind of still while the rest goes through the choreo in other clips? It's because he is a dancer too and gets it down so thats why he gets to just watch and in one clip wave his hand a little hardly moving when Hobi goes round commenting on everyone else doing the choreo. Just wanted to point that out if you thought it was wierd. I know you thought and said Jimin couldn't dance in one of your reactions and don't know if you checked him out as a dancer yet. Also Jin is so great, dancing doesn't come easy to him but he works so hard as you see going through the moves many extra times but with a smile on his face, I think he is amazing and does great in their performances.

I noticed that I learn more if I got a strict but reasonable teacher who has skills to teach. Because sometimes teachers are not built to teach and they are just there for their job. Everyone has their own pace, and teachers are trained to guide the students. I have ADHD plus I procrastinate a lot but I love reading and learning, it was thanks to my teachers' patience that I got this far. I encountered teachers that are bs too. And most of them are Math teachers who bring terror to the students and it mental scars.

I think they say Jhope is strict because of his "scary looks" mainly. Basically, he catches all the tiniest details and he doesn't really have a poker face. His emotions show-- It will show on his face when he's bothered usually, he has to go and stop himself from looking angry pr disgusted or whatever. So when he spots a mistake, bts members see it one his face and it makes them work all that harder to impress him. I also get the vibe that he doesn't get impressed with their dance too easily, he reserves the praise for special occasions that makes it all the more sweeter. This is why all of bts seems so desperate and happy when they get any praise from Hobi

They could all probably get jobs within the company. It's almost set in stone that RM will be producing. Maybe they will open their own company. It will be interesting to see it any one of them takes over as CEO one day. We will see.

The best teacher is the strict fair teacher, the lean one's r too soft to my taste, people try to give me some slack cause of my light form of autism, but i'm not thàt autistic, i want a fair strict teacher, i don't dance, i sing lol.

J hope is not a harsh teacher... Honestly I don't understand those teachers who yell at their students... You have to treat people like how you want to be treated so I don't think it's wise to be yelling at your students especially you want these kids to learn from you and respect you.... With J hope he is fairly strict that he doesn't say rude thing but BTS would try their best to please him because J hope is just that good in dancing... And I think BTS respects him as a dance teacher because he's not rude
