@@elchoumas3489 Yep, considering that Flowers was a posthumous release, they probably just pitched the original down to fit the tempo of the "Hear these melodies" vocal segment.

@@elchoumas3489 they prolly resampled it at a slightly lower bpm for the song cause everything is a lower pitch including all drums. they prolly used a regular bpm for the song like 90 and i bet dilla made the original beat at some weird bpm that was a whole number like 92.47 or something he was known to do that

i don't think dilla himself ever pitched it down.. this version was never officialy released, it appears in the 1997 batch which is an unofficial tape. the pitched version that everybody knows was released in 2013 on the illa j's album, sunset blvd!
