Hmm...I have doubts based on what his sense of rhythm was like and what he was producing around this same time ie pharcyde runnin, de la soul stakes is high, etc

my theory is Shoes made about 75% of this tape since he's thrown some of his own beats on more lesser known Dilla tapes back in the Jay Dee era. But I feel like Tracks 3 and 5 could possibly be Dilla the most out of all of them, especially Track 5. It gives off heavy "labcabincalifornia" vibes and when Track 5 first surfaced last summer it had Kingevers tags over it as well.

i had this tape and from what i know these most likely arent dilla sadly. none of these really sound like him. but the theory is that they were made in his basement and or were made in detroit so they ended up being tagged as dilla.

Where did you get this please bro? I don’t think most of these are produced by Jay, going by the difference sonically between the tracks and the actual 95 tape that’s circulating

yeah i had this tape and it most likely isnt him. but its probably some underground stuff from detroit or was made in his basement by shoes or another close friend.
