No matter, i shot him a polite smile and went to head inside. "How come you threw out your trash at midnight yesterday?" his voice questioned, echoing through the silent neighbourhood. I raised an eyebrow, drinking the last of my wine. "Stalking me i see," I say calmly, my glare shooting daggers through his eyes. "I came out because i forgot about the trash and it was stinking up the house," I stated with a shrug of my shoulders. His eyebrows rise and he remains glued to the spot. "K'now," I whisper, slowly stalking towards him, "I always do wonder where the women you bring into your house go." He stiffens and I can hear his breathing speed up. I knew. I innocently tilted my head as i mutter, "they never leave once they step into that house of yours, a shame really." That'll make him shut up. "Maybe i was hallucinating," he says, his breath hitched and shaky. And he backs into his house without muttering another word. We all have demons and nobody is ever truly alive. Especially the dead body i disposed into my bin late last night.
