since so many people are asking here's the anser. chaeyeon didn't want to say chaeryeong's name because she doesn't want to cause any trouble since everytime she mentions her sister it becomes a big issue (as in it becomes talk of the town) and she wanted to be careful especially since it's their first live in 8 months.

Sakura also rarely call Chaeyeon "Chaeyeon ah / Chaeyeon yah". It's normal for an unnie to call younger members that way but Sakura rarely calls Chaeyeon with afix at the end. Sakura calls the other members with "ah" or "yah" like "Minjoo-yah" or "Yena-yah" even with Nako, Sakura says "Nako-yah". But she rarely does that to Chaeyeon. With Chaeyeon, her 'Saku-chan' is the most adorable sound you'll hear when she calls Sakura in quiet voice.

That's what they called "Banmal" , the informal way of speaking.. When you're using Banmal you can drops all the honorifics and speak freely like normal friends, only a very few of these idols choose to use Banmal..

I’ve always admired the way Chaeyeon talks. She only 20 (internationally) but she speaks with such maturity. Ugh who can’t help but love her 😭👏🏾 Edit: She literally has the best laugh on this entire earth 😂

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's a bit like Eunbi. Both of them can be very silly at times, but both can also be very mature. It's part of what makes Chaeyeon a great lieutenant and allows her to run that other dorm. Like when on an episode of "Chu" and Wonyoung and Yuri tried to sneak away without cleaning the dishes. Chaeyeon didn't have to say much when she sensed what they were up to. She not only has professional respect because of her talent and ability to coach the members on choreo, but she also has personal respect because of the person she is. Any yes, her laugh is the best. When you hear her laughing off camera or see her laughing in the background, you know it's her laughing and are wondering what it is she is laughing at.

i cant do that ill end up hating her laugh 😩😩 my roommate used wannaone's laugh (the members causing a ruckus) as her alarm tone for months and i HATED IT, it plays for a long time bc she wont wake up and i just wanna throw away her phone haha. needless to say, it took me a while before i checked out the group lol

Maybe she didn't want to single out Chaeryeong, since she does have another younger sister, or maybe they have an agreement not to mention each other by name unless they discussed what was going to be said about the other first and they were okay with it being aired. I can see where two sisters could be kind of protective of each other and worry about some fans out there giving the other grief about something.
