iZeeker iA200 actioncam review
iZeeker is a brand that is making waves. It has in its catalog various products related to sports photography (action cameras) and nature photography (camera traps). But also video projectors and other interesting technological products.
Like many other companies, it is producing action cameras that aim to oust the most famous names such as GoPro and DJI from the podium. In fact, in this model (and the subsequent iA400 which we will see later) shapes and dimensions are clearly inspired by the more expensive models.
Technical features
This small camera is equipped with a double screen, this feature will allow us to see what we are framing even in a selfie shot. Of course, with such a wide camera angle it is difficult not to be framed, but the double screen has been very fashionable for a few years now! It has a maximum resolution of 5K 30fps. Supports stabilization up to 4K 30fps. Microphone input and photo screw to increase compatibility with accessories. Underwater up to 30 meters with the appropriate protective case. We will be able to do time-lapse and slow-motion shots.

I liked the amount of options available in the system menu. Unlike other cameras of the same price, we will be able to select ISO and focus point. It is really light and the battery lasts long enough for a few hours of cycling (obviously without using it continuously). In any case, it is always possible to carry a spare battery with you.
There are also things that didn’t convince me much, however, such as the front screen from which it is possible to see what you are framing, but the quality of the image and the colors is really low. The resolution itself is not exceptional, on paper it is 4K, but the video performance is not the best. Furthermore it is not possible to decide the encoding codec (h264 or h265). Furthermore, the audio is in mono. The quality of stabilization is not among the best I have been able to try so far, even on this product range.
Final consideration
The price is really low. This allows anyone to enter the world of action cameras and take sports shots without major demands. In conditions of good brightness and not too noticeable vibrations (such as MTB) the images are still usable, as long as you don’t expect very detailed shots.
