She is a truly a gifted person. Why must people ask or demand that she have credentials to show how that she knows how to be a BLESSING to others ? You can see that she clearly reaches others and is not afraid to share herself with others ??Iyanla is one of the few women on this planet that I would love to have a friendship/sistership with ! She has helped so many people, including me!

Most of my life I have followed Iyanla.. My one desire is to meet her before I die. I came close to dying last year and I'm now a paraplegic. Still trusting in our divine father.

iyanla was trying to take some of the heavy anxiety out of the interaction by adding humor and light to the convo. she also saw how serious this woman was taking this so she was showing her that it's not that serious. she said "if something is not working, do something else".....trial and error!

This made me cry..damn love mrs iyanla im the queen im the queen im going to remember that very deep

I was in the audience for this show and was sooo happy to be there. I love Iya Iyanla so very much, she is one of God's precious jewels that has been placed here on this planet to help us all evolve. She had to lift that sista up because she was really down. This exercise was used to make her understand that her perception of the situation can change when you use powerful words and outlooks. And she was the only one that could do it.

Oprah did not need to "revive her career". This women is a true warrior. Oprah had a tough childhood, worked her way through it. She found her platform. For the most part of her adult life, she has had it relatively "easy". She has tons of support and resources. No doubt, she is smart about utilizing. Iyanla has overcome in a few years what most people never face in their entire lifetime.

Thanks for posting this. When I was in Yorubaland in 2009. An Ifa priest said to me that part of my problem was that I was not honoring my father. So I did some ancestor work there and I continue to do so even to this day and it has brought me closer with my father's memory. This has helped me heal my hurt and anger with both of my parents. I have even gotten closer with my fathers family. Thank you for posting this. Wonderful.

I think I NEED her to help me with my broken and painful past; abandon , neglected and abused by my mom and siblings. After 39 years , I continue to feel unwanted , I've tried family counseling , one on one with each one etcetera. Please help this family to learn to love again.
