Комедия

Return visit to the Elephant Orphans at the Trust's Nursery in Nairobi National Park and our first visit to the Trust's Ithumba rehabilitation center in Tsavo East National Park. We were privileged to spend time with the Orphans and their Keepers in the Bush and more.
We thank Dr.Dame Daphne and Angela Sheldrick and everyone at the Trust for their Hospitality and Inspiration.

I love elephants! The government should protect them at all cost and ban ivory sell and trade. The thought of elephants being killed for ivory is horrible and an absolute waste of valuable life. We need to raise awareness and our voices to protect elephants.

Thank-God China has finally banned the sale of ivory......ivory prices have already plummeted........Now if Vietnam and all other nations that allow the legal sale of ivory would do the same........perhaps the tide can be turned......

Do you want to save elephants ? "Just Do NOT buy ivory." How hard can it be ??? Buying any ivory item makes you directly responsible for murdering an elephant. Shame on you.

Thank you for this informative video, so many orphans....sad that there is no end to this grave issue, as evidenced by the need to conduct an international march on Oct 4th, 2013

In some ways, yes. But passionately loving elephants would make it less so; it would be A JOY. A precious and invaluable thing they do, but they do get great heart-reward!

layla levani I wish I knew all about all of them, but while I love them, I don't work with DSWT, so I'm sorry, I don't. But you can go to the DSWT website and look up the elephants, I believe. Hopefully, you can find out there. If not, maybe someone else here will know and answer, or maybe you'll ask DSWT by email. I'd check the website first. I believe they post their website in the video description. 😊.

Excellent youtube hard not to cry. Every baby elephant we see in the youtube came there from trauma and I listened to Dame Sheldrick's audio book. Heart breaking but like the elephants she has learned to endure and so much love. Goodness is unforgettable. Thank you because not u to flight to India.

Against the killing of elephants for ivory, there are many countermeasures: Reminton, S&W, Mauser etc.

Make sure you are all making these videos with a Chinese translation. Also, this will require women of stature to create a bad stigma associated with ivory. And also we need to sell a fake ivory and make it cool :) As was done with the fur trade. It doesn't eliminate the problem completely, but it does considerably reduce demand :) Thank you heroes :)

For the Chinese this is just a very small problem, compared with their problems "at home". In the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam the Netherlands, you see them carefully photographing ivory art and trinkets from the 17th century, There's one luck for the African elephants: the weather modification, that makes Siberia a treasure land for mammoth ivory
