Because it's a long vehicle and there was a rock projected from the right side at that corner portion where most of the vehicles struggled, and the people were sure that the defender won't go through that track and definitely the rock will damage the cars entire right portion. That's why they made a wise decision.

Deflate is for desert drive dear.. For mud with rocks and stone its not advisable....

@@yassaryassi not really..reducing the tyre pressure helps anytime you go off a bitumen..by deflate i meant to reduce, not completly deflate..this would stop wheels from bouncing off rocks, increased traction helps travel in slush..
