We do all we can do to have a successful cycle. You have way more will power than I do to stay away from certain foods. I stopped drinking milk a long time ago, but cheese and butter are still a part of my diet. Thanks for sharing all your tips!

Awesome! Your story is much like mine. Natural pregnancy followed by 8 years unexplained infertility before 2 laperoscopy surgeries to remove ovarian cysts & endometrial tissue..fibroids..and had fallipian tubes blown out...as well as a biopsy of uterus. One fertility med i do not advise taking is Chlomid- because i was going to try IUI first- well, chlomid made me into a crying- depressed- mind bended mess! Got free from it & then decided to go strait to ivf since i was condidered young in the ivf world. Age 31. Sobriety is huge too- eating lentils help alot. Other than that i changed nothing at all except my mindset...i would suggest that first. My doctor said the supplements really only give way for some people to have something to focus on rather than be stressed & worry. Successful IVF is the embryo latching on into the uterus to begin to grow in womb.. Getting or staying healthy is a great way to live, but a person can be 100% healthy & not conceive. I received 73 days of 6 progesterone in oil injections to my lower spinal/upper buttock muscle area. This was required by my IVF doctor. The medication has to stay chilled. It came in cold pack box weekly same day. The vials held the liquid drug which was as thick as maple syrup...those injections were terrible the entire 73 days. I had a blessing of a dear friend who is a Registered Nurse & stuck by every day to give me these. She alternated sides..i didnt bruise as bad as some people who had family or other give these. I was told a rn was recommended for a drug this serious. Other IVF docs let patients use the progesterone cream. My doctor said that if i wanted to be in the 80% first time success rate group with first round ivf i would fight hard to make it thru those injections. I did& i conceived..gave birth to very healthy baby boy. This was 10 years after my daughter was born! Progesterone in oil helps keep that baby in the womb past the critical time frame of possibly suffering miscarriage. If that is all a person does it has very high success rate. I wanted a baby so very bad...i prayed...and God listened...but i had to do ALL that was really past my fear & comfort zone. I put my mind past the thought of the cold thick meds that those injections held..but i told myself each shot was like a kiss to my little baby to tell him to stay safe in there.. so you can grow enough to come into our arms! 😍

I wanted to mention, I follow Dr. Marc and he is following you. That means you are doing a great job information women in the ivf community 👏

Wow, thank you! I love Dr. A so much. The herbs were from the acupuncturist and were in Chinese so I am not sure exactly what they were! They were given to me based on my needs at that particular time to help restore kidney functions. Wishing you all the best.

This helped me out a lot. I just found out today the our pregnancy test was negative, I will be making some big changes. Thank you

Just received a call from my clinic that 21 mature and 18 fertilized. Not out of the woods yet still praying for more reasonable numbers at day 5. O.M.G I’ve watched all your videos and you’re AMAZING🙂 You’re videos have been soooo helpful! I’m currently taking my birth control pills. Is it ok to continue adding Maca powder to my smoothies while on birth control or should I discontinue?? I’ve been taking the Maca for about a month n a half but wasn’t sure if it interfered with the birth control...

Thanks for posting and loved your delivery of the tips used. You may have mentioned this already but I wanted to know did you drink the raspberry leaf tea or any other herbs while taking the progesterone? Did you specialist have you on Estrace (Estradiol) as well?

Thanks! I stopped the tea the day of transfer, so I drank it a few days while doing the progesterone shots! I started estradiol around CD 3 and took it until week 12 of pregnancy. Best of luck to you ❤

I found it very informative.. I am going to start back accupuncture the last person I went to said she couldn't help me because of age, so I am hoping to find someone else. Thanks again for the video it will help alot. 😘🤗❤️

Deidre Fultz Glad you enjoyed 🙂 I heard another TTC sister say the same thing, she was turned away from an acupuncturist because of her age. That's why it's so important to be your own advocate and do your research. Studies show how acupuncture can help an IVF have greater success! Find yourself another acupuncturist who will be willing to help you 🙂

Deidre Fultz my acupuncturist doesn't discriminate. I was 40 had my rainbow baby girl 1 month before my 41st birthday Find a good clinic that specializes in infertility. Pray, acupuncture and Chinese herbs helped with my conception.

Hi, I told the acupuncturist I was preparing for IVF and she knew the points to hit. There were some behind the ear, in the wrists, leg and in my belly! Also in my face and scalp!

Thank you so much for these videos, they are extremely helpful. Do you have a video on items you purchased that helped you get through your ivf cycles. Like heating pad, ice pads etc. I am starting ivf this summer and I am trying to gather everything I might need but I can't find any videos that cover that.

Hey love, I know IVF seems super overwhelming, but don't overcomplicate it :) You really don't need a lot of special stuff to prepare. Definitely get you a journal! For your shots to prep for retrieval you won't need much - unfortunately your belly will probably get sore and bruised but there isn't much to relieve that. Trust me, that's a good thing because that means you're growing lots of juicy follicles :) for the PIO shots I'd say Ice pack is good to help with the soreness throughout the day and heating pad is good to warm the injection spot and the oil. Also, get you a little squishy massage ball to work out any knots (you can find these at target near the workout section) Wishing you all the best and sending you all the prayers and good vibes I can! You've got this mama 😘

Hi thank you for the advice on the supplements and congratulations on your pregnancy. I have a question I know you have mentioned in the past that you are going through IVF because of male infertility.? Anyway we are too my husband has low sperm count, motility and morphology. Did you take DHEA even though you didn’t have low ovarian reserve? I’m afraid if I take it and don’t have low ovarian reserve I might mess things up but then I’ve read that it’s good for egg quality I’m confused 🤷🏻‍♀️ any advice you might have. What I have noticed with IVF doctor s, is if you don't ask questions they won't tell you anything or suggest anything. You have to do your own research. Then ask questions and then they will suggest doing some tests. I had to ask for a hag to see if my tubes were okay before the doctor made the request. He never suggested it to me

I think supplements are good to take throughout the cycle and pregnancy. Especially prenatal! But definitely follow your doctor's instructions and not some stranger on the internet 😂❤ good luck love!

Since I'm vegetarian I did lots of organic veggies, brown rice, quinoa, lots of protein with black beans and lentils. All home cooked meals and no eating out 😊
