I'm a Qld Pharmacist, I'm so used to seeing the higher dose of zoladex used to slow prostate cancer i forgot we could use the lower dose for things other than that. So thanks for the reminder and I've done some quick reading to refresh my memory. Good luck for the next coming weeks!

Hello Celeste I am Tânia from Portugal and I had the same journey your are having right know and at the beginning of the pandemic, March 2020. We had our last cycle of menopur and 15 eggs, afraid on a daily basis, because we didn't know whether the hospital was closing the fertility treatments the next day or not. We were the last couple doing the transfer on March 19th and had to sign an official document clearing the hospital of any problems that could occur associated with covid-19. The next day the hospital shut down the entire service and guess what? I had my first two lines in 4 years. My son was born on November 29th. Please release your head of every WHAT IFs, just go with the flow. Good vibes for you two from the other side of the globe. ❤️

My Lovely, on my third ivf cycle I decided not to do pgs testing and transfer an untested embryo as I had a gut feeling that this is what I wanted to do and lucky enough I got pregnant and currently 26 weeks along, always follow your heart and your intuition ok, forget the past and if you think at least to transfer one on the upcoming cycle do it but if you feel like testing and freeze all is what you want then go for it… I really wish a beautiful baby for you,pray and talk God he will show you the way, keep us post it ok 👍

You and I are nearly exactly in line, I just took my trigger shot last night and have retrieval tomorrow (Monday) morning! This is my first IVF cycle. I can’t imagine what you have gone through. I hope this is successful for both of us ❤️❤️❤️

So interested in this lower dose of menopur. I have heard some say higher doses can kind of fry your eggs depending on how you respond to it. Seems like a good strategy! Keeping everything crossed for your retrieval! It’s good too to be able to let your body recover from stims by doing a frozen! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🤗🤗🤗

I don’t know what the outcome of your cycle was I pray for peace and comfort for you. Idk if your religious, but I believe God will give you the desires of your heart. Stay strong my lady. I’m currently waiting on my FET later this month. I’ve had ectopics diagnosed w/ endometriosis and haven’t been pregnant in 11 years, no live births. I’m 37 and will be 38 in a few weeks. @@kaytiemyers2698 I hear progesterone cream works better than the oral pills so I hope she looks into it. Hopefully she has better doctors this time around. Correct me if I’m wrong but last time she was pregnant her doctors said her progesterone was dropping and she miscarried. I felt so bad for her and I didn’t understand why her doctors didn’t at least try progesterone when they realized her progesterone was dropping. I wasn’t sure if they were using a surrogate or not this time around but I thought if she was planning on carrying herself this time around it was important to mention because of what happened last time.

@@LadyErnst yup,progesterone oral and anal helped me finally deliver a healthy baby after 4 miscarriages.I bought these myself without my doctor knowing because they were annoyingly convinced that nothing is wrong with me and progesterone won’t help .I am so glad I took that step and trusted my instinct this time .

@@OmarAli-jp3mx It’s crazy how some doctors simply just won’t try progesterone. I’ve heard this happening to multiple women. I’m glad you took things into your own hands and managed to have a healthy baby by simply adding progesterone to your regimen. May I ask what brand of progesterone cream you used?

@@LadyErnst agreed but high doses/staggered use can cause birth defects, probably they didn’t know then to give it to her, I expect they will now but with caution. This kind of prescribing needs to be discussed and planned, with full understanding of the risks etc, and remember medical protocol varies country to country. It wouldn’t do her good to up the levels when she’s already miscarrying or to prevent at that stage, it mostly isn’t the case that giving it you then will help it’s mostly too late by then plus it’s a not a take one pill and the level will up, it would take a bit of time to level out. There are lots of reasons not to give though, and as 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage sadly some doctors will not look at these options if there is no medical reason why you are miscarrying or having trouble conceiving otherwise. If it’s appropriate for her I expect they would give this time, if they didn’t before.

I hope you can get as many eggs and embryos as you can. When me and my husband did our ivf I was left to the last point before collecting and they got 16. Every single one failed to develop except one. It was the hardest part of the journey I thought there would be more. However after transferring that 1 we were warned it would not stick. But through all the doubts and failures that 1 stuck. She's our 5 year old little miracle. She is every bit a miracle and are thankful for that 1 small luck. Her embryo was also the same size shape and maturity as all the others that perished. I pray for you and send love and hope. X
