Just finished my first egg retrieval cycle without having enough knowledge about what actually it was about. This year has been very dramatic in terms of my fertility but your videos are enlightening me with your information and hopes! Thank you for sharing your knowledge on KZread channel.

We stopped circumcising in the 80’s in Australia, I wouldn’t consider giving birth in a hospital that offers it. It’s really awesome that it was so hard for you to find a provider. I hope the practice dies out worldwide.

I’m a L&D nurse in Wisconsin and we still circumcise in the hospital. I’ve heard it is very regional, but I would say 95% of the baby boys born at my hospital are circumcised. I’ve loved following you through this journey and wish you the best whenever you decide to do transfer #2 ❤ We actually have children and then my husband had a vasectomy and we changed our minds so we went through IVF, which I know of so different than going through it for a first baby but it was so hard and despite naturally conceiving our current children we did 4 transfers with 7 embryos and have no baby to show for it (2 failed, 1 chemical, 1 missed miscarriage).

I’m so upset - I just started my very first IVF round with my Lupron injections two days ago and this morning I just tested positive for COVID. My RE says this round is cancelled due to fear of blood clot developing from COVID and ovarian stim meds. She said we will postpone at least month - maybe 2 or 3 depending on my RE’s schedule. Did you face any COVID issues during IVF?

They still doing circumcision the old way here in Florida. My boy was circumcised the same day we got discharged from the hospital and it was don’t by my Obgyn. He cut the foreskin and it healed pretty fast

Can you send me the name of your pediatrician that did your circumcision? I didn't realize that it might be difficult to find and I'm due next month 😳

I just started the process and I went thorough all the medication for the ovarian stimulation and it did not work the follicular did not grow and that’s something that has me super down.

After your next transfer, will you have any embryos left? If so, will you transfer again?

Currently I have 2 more frozen embryos so I’m planning on transferring one of them around July or August 2024. If that one fails, I will try one more time with the last one

What do you think about transferring 2 embryos at once? Ours are untested and we have had one miscarriage and one failed implantation. Thanks!

I think it depends on how many you have and your age; also depends on what your doctor thinks. Do you plan to do the genetic testing?

  • @oooga11

We decided not to do genetic testing. Our doctor wasn’t concerned as I’m 33 and our infertility is male factor. We have 3 embryos left and our doctor is leaving it up to us. There are risks for twin pregnancies but I’m also getting tired of the process and 2 embryos will help increase the chance that at least one of them will stick :S

@@oooga11 oh ok! Then if you still have 3 and your doctor says it’s fine, I would go for 2! Because you still have one left if both embryos fail, but yeah the chances of getting pregnant goes up transferring 2. But you need to be prepared for the possibility of both sticking and having twins. I know that sounds magical now, but after being pregnant with one and going through new mom life and postpartum with one…omg I have no idea how moms with twins do it!!!!! Having two Quinns!!😳😳 I know people do it but it is exponentially more difficult, the pregnancy and postpartum so just keep that in mind as well lol I’m excited for you girl!!💕

@@oooga11 Hi, do you mind sharing if you decided to transfer two embryos and if so, how it went? Our embryos are getting shipped off for testing on Tuesday and it takes 10-14 business days to hear back, but I keep hearing that even healthy embryos may not implant, so I'm getting worried too.

@@kzfingerprintwe transferred 2 untested embryos. One stuck but unfortunately I miscarried :( We’re doing another egg retrieval and we’ll definitely test the embryos this time. Best of luck to you!
