love dive's demo has so much potential omg if it was released like that i think i'd write a whole story based off of it (not like i didn't write one inspired by love dive but still-) like, _wear your poison kisses like i wear lipstick_ THAT LYRIC???? HOWEVER, ultimately starship made the right choice changing it to what we have as love dive. those lyrics are not something i'd want to hear from a group with mostly minors.

I like the demo for eleven more than the official one especially because it makes more sense. The same for thw love dive demo, though I'd have to give it to starship for making it called love dive because it is notably more attractive and catchy than love dive

우와~ 원곡의 어떤 부분은 지금의 곡과 느낌이 전혀 다른 부분도 있고, 어떤 부분은 느낌이 아주 많이 닮은 부분도 있네요~^^
원곡도 좋은데 그룹의 개성대로 편곡잘된 게 놀랍다. 사랑 느낌 물씬한 곡인데 자기애로 자연스럽게 그린 것도.
I love both these demos and IVEs versions, it's amazing how different they feel with the same melody. Would love to hear the full version of the demo!

@@ggggg2483 그럴수도 있겠지만 전 다르게 해석했어요! 보통 영어권에서 이성의 매력을 1-10으로 매기는 거 같더라구요 그냥 친구들끼리 대화에서 저사람은 7이다, 8이다 이런식으로요. 그래서 10=완벽하다 란 뜻이니, 11처럼 느껴진다는 표현은 완벽을 넘어선 정도로 매력적으로 느껴진다, 그만큼 남자가 자길 사랑한다는 걸 강조한단 느낌을 받았어요ㅎㅎ물론 가사중에 turn me on은 성적인 의미가 뚜렷히 있는 표현이긴 하지만요

데모에서는 10을 가장 최대치로 봤을 때 너는 그 10을 넘어선 11의 감정을 느끼게 해준다고 해서 일레븐이였구나...최종적으로 아이브는 1을 거울에 비춘 모습을 11로 보고 나 자신을 사랑한다는 뜻을 내포해서 일레븐이 됐네(축구 어찌고 저찌고 보다는 뮤비 내용처럼 자신을 마주보고 사랑에 빠진 모습을 11로 표현한 게 더 와닿음...)

Bleed out도 그렇고 bite 나오는 것도 원래 러브다이브 원곡은 뱀파이어가 컨셉이었던 것 아닐까요..? 스스로가 아름답다는 것을 자각하고 있는(=narrsisistic) 뱀파이어에 홀려서 모든 것을(아마 피?=bleed out) 다 내어주었지만(=you know I'd give it all/but I would/sacrifice) 결국 그 모든 것은 옳지 않은 일(=I shouldn't/it's criminal)이라는 것을 알고 있는(=unforgivable), 그러면서도 매혹되는 사랑? 후렴구 부분 가사도 거부할 수 없이 매혹됨을 뱀파이어에게 물리는 것(=love bites)을 키스(=poison kisses)에 빗대어 표현한? 그런 가사려나 싶어요

재밌는 해석이네요 그래도 저는 bleed out, bite 두 단어만으로 뱀파이어라는 결론이 나오긴 힘들 것 같습니다 모든 걸 줄 거야 피가 나올 정도로 아프지만 너무 좋다 해선 안되는 행동을 네가 하게 만든다 등등 상대에게 강한 충성심과 서브미시브한 감정을 표출합니다 자기 자신을 희생하면서까지 상대에게 헌신하는 화자는 네 사랑은 문다고 표현을 하게 되는데 여기서 your ~ bites는 영어에서 자주 쓰이는 관용구로 뱀파이어 같다는 생각이 들진 않네요 보통 우리 (애완동물)은 물어요 라는 말로 쓰지만 비유적인 표현으로 사물이나 감정, 사람에게도 쓰는 식으로 그건 위험하다는 뜻을 내포합니다 여기서는 자기애 강한 상대방의 가학적인 사랑을 궁극적으로 표현하기 위해 your love bites라는 가사를 썼다고 생각합니다

The "Love dive" demo was rejected by Sunmi because she thought it would be better sung by a group. Maybe even "Eleven" was proposed in advance to a more mature soloist.

Lauren Aquilina was one of my favorite artists back in HS and I completely lost track of her, so finding out she demoed Eleven literally MADE my day. ❤️❤️ And makes me wonder why she didn’t keep it her own song. 🧐 But best of both worlds this way, we get two versions even if one’s a half demo!

@@3rdelement10 ya I know but I said it’s mainly legal adults now because Wonyoung Yujin Rei and Gaeul are legal adults while Liz and Leeseo are minors and I said it was still good that they did that

@@emptyteardrops Actually I do, enough to translate the lyrics myself, and there's this one line in Love Dive that I copy-pasted and asked Koreans how tf they would translate it and they said it literally did not make sense
