I can’t imagine the loss the children are feeling. It’s heartbreaking. To lose a wonderful mother, grandmother, a confidant, a wise woman, in a way that could’ve been prevented, it’s so sad. RIP Ivana.

That's what accidents are -- things that could possibly have been prevented. And I'm sure they're struggling with that. But she was very independent and strong headed, and knew what she wanted. She lived how she wanted. I hope her children are taking some solace from that. And as for the rest of us, we should look to our own accident-prone areas.

@ashley1994 I agree, that's why I said "in a way" prevented, meaning it may have been possible, but we really don't know. But her kids esp Eric may be torturing themselves wondering if they had only done this or that ... On the other hand, it may not even have been due to an accident. If a sudden heart issue caused her to fall, then it could just as easily have been part of all the sudden heart problems lately so many adults are experiencing. I mean, she would have taken extra precautions knowing she was about to travel ... Her friend said she was very concerned about getting covid and hadn't travelled at all since the pandemic. Just stayed home. This was to be her first trip.

She had an exotic doll-face look. Pity so much of her uniqueness has been carved away. The subtly blended brown-blonde hair colour she had between 9-15 yrs old also suit her better than the severe blonde tones later on. She looks fine now but just saying.
