It has finally come to the day after all the online meetings with my client, Ivan.
Zara's day was just like any other, but Ivan's was special. I arrived 40 minutes before the call time of 11 a.m. to secure a good spot and prepare for any unforeseen conditions. Zara believed they were simply taking a stroll in London's St Thomas' Hospital Garden, but Ivan asked me to covertly take photographs of his proposal to Zara.
I'm used to going unnoticed and capturing genuine emotions in the moment. In fact, my whole approach to wedding photography is about blending into the action without controlling it or getting in the way.
